things i wanna rant about:
1) dont add co-workers to your fb, if you do only post **** like that to certain groups, if you add those people to your fb youre to blame for your posts
2) it shouldnt matter whether i was drunk or exhausted from ******* nireshs mom the night before, if i feel im not capable of working on a given day then its better to have the day off then to lack productivity

i got sacked from where i used to work for "having too much time off" i had a viral infection i rang them up the 2st day i was ill and told them this and they said that it was fine just come back in when i feel better.flash forward to a week later feel alot better and decide to work lates that week to make up for the week i missed from being so ill i couldnt get out of bed.get to old workplace one of the bitchy co workers goes "are you ******* joking?" one of the older nice-ish co workers leads me out and says that i've been sacked...i still havent got my cheque yet from the last week i was in work.and it's been 2 weeks now.cunts

If his contract stated that all that was required for his one-day leave is for him to say it was for "medical reasons", then he could be in the clear here. He could claim that being hung over was his medical reason. Unless the contract delineates what is considered a medical reason, I'd say that headache, nausea, and fatigue would qualify as medical reasons.
