To be honest, even though the meme was misused, it still did it's job. It looks like the people are being rallied.

Possibly Collegehumor, It's just a pic, but if you're feeling crafty, print the pic out and glue it over an actual thing.

You could always just grow the **** up and listen to your parents too. You're living in their house and off of their money. The excuse "Well, I'm young and can't do anything about that yet" is ******** too. You don't have to work every day to make a living, and if you do have a job, it's most likely not full time or nearly as stressful as your parents'. Do them a favor and get some **** done around the house without complaining, because I'm sure you still have hours of free time each day.

Besides, you'll eventually be out of there and taking care of yourself. And I'm sure you'll be thanking them later for teaching you the basics of not being a slob.

that's going into detail, you can't possibly say that without knowing anything about OP.

Okay you are coming off a bit harsh and broad with this. With my economy (America) Finding any kind of job is pretty ******* hard (Especially since I live in a vacation area) so don't start calling people out about not having full time jobs because you are probably no better off than the rest of us. And I actually see more people under 30 with jobs, not the other way around. Just because they're old doesn't mean they can't be lazy because I know more than a dozen people personally over 40 who mooch off the government when they are perfectly capable of getting their asses up to work.

TL:DR: Don't call people out until you realize the situation they're in dumbass.

There are plenty of jobs to be had, just not the ones people want. I constantly see NOW HIRING signs all over town in various buildings... I know plenty of temp agencies looking for various jobs all the time. McDonald's, and other fast food chains always struggle keeping a full staff. Construction companies always need cheap labor. People always need their grass cut, or hedges trimmed for a few bucks. I'd pay a kid $50 to pressure wash my sidewalk and driveway--It's a pain in the ass.

- These are all observations by someone who has a career, and hasn't looked for a job in many moons. Imagine what someone actually LOOKING could find. (Looking means beating the street and going everywhere you can, not just turning in a few resumes like a lazy ******** who sits on the computer all day)

Literally every single job type you described is hiring in at 7.25$ an hour with maybe 20 hour weeks. Now with the price of gas do you HONESTLY think anybody can afford to take time out of their day for a job that you know for damn sure will be sunk into gas just to get back and forth to work? You talk about beating the streets to look for work and you know what is funny about that? (Over 40% of agencies don't even consider paper applications anymore. Mainly because their online app center is so filled to the brim that they literally look at the paper and the first thing they don't like on that application means an automatic garbage toss for it.) I've been through it at least 4 times in the last month, work is not as easy as you might think. You try finding 1 place that will hire you in at a worthwhile working wage while simultaneously working under 60 hours (Driving + work) and I guarantee finding both at the same time WILL be damn near impossible.

I can't follow your train of thought here bud... If you have to drive THAT far to get to your job, perhaps you should look somewhere closer to home... or find multiple jobs--working different shifts in order to make it worth your while. I can't fathom spending more than $123 (I'm taking 15% for income tax and other **** ) a week on gas alone. That doesn't even pass the common sense test.

Whoa whoa whoa.

"The excuse "Well, I'm young and can't do anything about that yet" is ******** too."

That's not ******** it's pure fact.... And it's the number one reason they need to listen to the people doing it for them. If you're a kid and you can't take care of yourself you better respect the people who are.

Respect/Help your parents people.

TLDR: I agree with you but fj is filled with 12-16 year olds who are going to be butthurt over being called "kids" or being told they have to do something.
#109 to #70 - lockandlawl (02/19/2013) [-]
I know it's true. I meant it's ******** to use that as an excuse to do nothing around the house. I suppose I could have been more clear on that.

Something just ticks when I see people complaining about parents. Few kids/teens have a real reason to, but it seems like the majority bitch about them anyway.
