Ricer is essentially a car with all show & no go.

It started out to describe any car made by an Asian manufacturer, Honda, Nissan, Toyota, etc but then moved to be the definition of a car made by these manufacturers that was set up to look the part of having power, but the actual power producing components, engine, suspension, etc virtually stock.
