Unaffiliated isn't atheist. If they believe in God they're not atheist.

None of the people you listed are atheists, I don't know why you included that part. You also ****** up your grammar with the comma before the or, making it appear that you were defining atheists as "those that do not affiliate with religion".

They were deists. They still believed in God, just not in the same way as most Christians.

So no, they were not atheists.

they were believed to be deists. No hardcore evidence suggested that they were deists or atheist. but i did put to be safe the part of not being affiliated with religion, which still means they could believe in a god.

Jefferson wrote the Jefferson Bible which was meant as a text for deism.
