They can refatds, can you imagine the kind of power they'd have as president?
No one wants to see that.
#339 to #5 - Rascal (02/17/2013) [-]
That's because asian can refatds and they dont need to be a president

They would be great. They will know all the people's needs and the motives and compromises of political leaders.
Mind reading is great.

I just want to state before I continue that I have nothing against Obama BUT if a Asian, Mexican, English, Russian, Romanian, or Greek individual was elected president...I highly doubt that anyone would give a **** ...but because Obama is half black...
#10 to #7 - Rascal (02/16/2013) [-]
Or, just maybe, people don't like him because he signs laws saying he can use drone strikes on americans without a trial and stuff like that.

Can you provide a link to said law?
Because that's grounds for impeachment, and I'll take that to the capital myself.

User avatar #102 to #10 - setittowumbo (02/16/2013) [-]
No. What I'm saying is that everyone is flipping their **** because "OMG! WE HAVE A BLACK PRESIDENT! THIS IS HAS NEVER HAPPENED! LIKE OMG! NO WAY! GUYS LOOK HE'S BLACK! HOLY **** THIS IS GOING DOWN IN HISTORY! WOW! LOOK! ******* ! LOOK! LOOK!!!"

I just never really understood that. Some people just voted for him because he's half black and then others hate him just because he is half black. It's so dumb. The presidential election shouldn't count on someone's race. And like I said before, no one would give a **** if it was any other race.

And then there's those ******* that say "EVER SINCE OBAMA BECAME PRESIDENT I CAN DO WHATEVA DA FOOK I WANT!" I saw it on the Maury show once.
User avatar #460 to #102 - Fgner (02/17/2013) [-]
The funniest part is that Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize for becoming president. No, don't give it to the woman who lost so much saving children in the Holocaust, then helping them find parents and family outside the country. No - don't ******* do that.

Give it to ******* OBAMA. BECAUSE HE WAS ELECTED PRESIDENT (he wasn't even inaugurated yet) FOR BRAINING ******* DIVERSITY AND UNITY TO THE ******* WORLD.
User avatar #500 to #460 - setittowumbo (02/17/2013) [-]
Exactly. And I don't like Romney or McCain (I don't like many of the "newer" Republicans because they're either closest homo's that hate other homo's, they're right winged Christians that love to love shove all they're religious bs down everyone else's throats, or just idiots) BUT I know for a fact that Obama won the first term because he had so many people flippin their **** like "OH IT'S BLACK GUY! VOTE FER HIMM!!! HE'S BLACK GUYS! HE WANTS TO BE PRESIDENT!!"

I'm a independent and I only want **** to be fixed. I don't always vote because I don't really think my vote matters (I have the worst of luck...) I did vote for Obama this year BUT only because I didn't like Romneny's partner Paul Ryan. He's one of those people that is okay with making the poor pay for taxes than the rich because he thinks the rich work harder than the poor. And I do like Joe Biden, he's kind of funny.

This is just my opinion everyone! Don't get all mad at me!
User avatar #504 to #500 - Fgner (02/17/2013) [-]
And you can have your opinion. I just choose not to vote for either party. **** the turd sandwhiches, and **** the giant douches.

...That's not a law. That's a memo. That law has always been in action, since the foundation of the Constitution. Terrorism is a form of sedition, and directly punishable. People just get freaked out because of the drones.

It's like the police killing that LAPD guy without a trial. Why could they do that? They could do it because he had already killed people. Same thing goes with being a leader of Al-Qaeda. You don't have to be an active leader, you're ruled as guilty by association.

If I were to say that I was a member of the KKK (I'm not), you would immediately think of hangings and such, even though you'd have no proof that I had done such things.
#55 to #54 - Rascal (02/16/2013) [-]
Except, he can do it without evidence, on the call of solely the president, and the law was instated with bush, who NEVER used it on a american citizen, then obama expanded it to be able to be used without evidence and on americans.
User avatar #84 to #55 - jjamesgordon (02/16/2013) [-]
You're misreading the article. It says he can call the strike without evidence that they're members of an active cell. If they can be proven to be linked to the group at all, they're found guilty. It's just the Red Scare all over again.
#91 to #84 - Rascal (02/16/2013) [-]
Without evidence of being in a active sell or engaged in a active plot against the US, and again, Obama along gets to decide on a case by case basis who gets killed and who doesn't and when he kills americans without trial, and without evidence, that is illegal.
User avatar #463 to #10 - JoshBauer (02/17/2013) [-]
Quit wording it like that, I am against Obama in every way except that. If some asshole grew up in the U.S. and then converted to Islam and decided to kill his former country's soldier, he can rot in hell and **** him he doesn't need a trial. He's already decided his fate.
#353 to #7 - Rascal (02/17/2013) [-]
and since you look stupid my point was that only American can be president in the States. that means while an Asian can be a president (because it's a race), a Greek or Mexican can't be.

so many good dinosaurs died in that war, the rattle of gun fire and the screams of the velociraptors are still fresh in my ears. i lost my best friend on the 21st of november 3025 to a triceratops raid on his camp, he managed to escape but later died from his wounds, his faithful dinosaur remained at his side for days after that. on august of the third year after the great dinosaur war started, we got reports of the enemy assembling a squad of stegosaurus to march across and transport troops deep into our territory, no amount of gunfire could take down these beasts and their armoured plates. the war ended three years later, i lost my entire family and my youngest, a t Rex i named ross after the great T Rex president of 3012.

I know that feeling, brother. They've even got pictures of some of the battles. This picture depicts the battle of the German mountain Die Nonychus, on the planet Die Plodocuus. I only lost a few relatives, but it's still very hard to cope with it.

i hope your home planet was safe, mine was pretty war torn, it took years to rebuild, sometimes we look up into the sky at night and think what is was like all those years ago...
#194 to #189 - crazyolitis (02/16/2013) [-]
My homeplanet got raided by giant cockroach pirates. It was so bad, they had to send in some psychoT-rexes to get rid of them. People over here never get the chance to look up at the sky in the night. Three suns mean no night.
This pic was used as propaganda against the cockroach menace.

We were hit on the 6th day of the war by radioactive war heads, the radiation caused so much havoc and eventually mutated most of our race, i managed to salvage an old poster as well, eventually we prevailed.
#202 to #198 - crazyolitis (02/16/2013) [-]
Yeah. We got hit by the mutation virus called Drastic Inversion and Nigtmare Overtaking. Strange name, but it fits its effects perfectly. The virus backfired, however, and it formed a hivemind, threatening the complete sector. They had to destroy the plannet in order to prevent the extinction of every species.
#208 to #202 - yourafaggotharry (02/16/2013) [-]
you might recall the hyper realism chips, invented on earth in the year 2078, the chips that could project holograms and induce a mind like trance on anyone on the planet, a year before the war started it was introduced on my planet along side a few shipments of earth hardware, old out dated stuff unfortunately sent to be destroyed along side many other of the junk on my planet. when the drastic inversion hit, the hard drives of many of the games were fractured and the hyper realism chips spliced the fractured chip and genes of many of the dinosaurs into monstrosities of games in the past, i don't have any true pictures of what happened, but this artists illustration shows one of the game "pokemons" mutations.
#214 to #208 - crazyolitis (02/16/2013) [-]
I heard about that. They could even breathe fire, ice, water and could even fly! In our neighbouring system of V. Rap, on the planet Tor, the dino's got mixed with plants. Perfect camo, nearly immune to starvation, shedding spores that grow into new plant-dino's instead of breeding. They're still fighting savage wars, despite the dino's having lost most of their intelligence.
This sight is the last many people see before dying over there.
#218 to #214 - yourafaggotharry (02/16/2013) [-]
War is never ending, when we first settled all i could think is i was glad to be off earth, its war torn streets and crumbling hyper blocks sicked me, when we got to my new home alpha P. 73 in the Echo sector, it was nothing like i had imaged, lush green forests all centred around one super city, of course dinosaurs were new to us, and were being used by law enforcement in the city, the mutations caused so many things, they adapted to they environment, some as you say combining with plants, some being more urban suited, rock hard skin, agile able to get around at speed in the war torn city. and strangely some remained unharmed, they remained loyal to their human masters and fought the war, some ending in blood, others in glory
#219 to #218 - crazyolitis (02/16/2013) [-]
Have you heard what happened on planet Ichti in the Osaur sector? Civil war broke out. Fascists, communists, capitalists and even anarchists are fighting with each other. due to lack of weapons, they even break into museums, using ancient weapons, such as this primitive cannon.

Indeed. I've heard rumors that dinosaurs used to live millions of years ago. Madness! If they went extinct, how can they still be alive today?

The pleasure's mine, kind sir. I've enjoyed doing this thread. I won't forget, this won't soon be a blur. I think that if people wouldn't do this, FJ would be dead. I liked your creativity. You adapted well to story changes. Those are great signs of maturity. If you'd like, we could have more story exchanges. However, I'm sleepy and tired. I'm not even good at rhyming. And for stories, I also won't be admired. And I can't proceed without better timing.

TR expanded his power while in office, and got us into wars with latin america and asia, while andrew jackson was one of the biggest slave owners in the southwest and essentially started the trail of tears when he found gold on cherokee land.

Eh, I was actually just suggesting badasses.
And you look at the whole war with Asia in the wrong light. We prevented the Russo-Japanese war from escalating, and we additionally increased our relations with china by giving them the manchurian railway. By doing this and other things, TR effectively ended US isolationism. Expansion of powers isn't necessarily a bad thing. You also forget he made the Panama canal. He batman'd it, too. His methods weren't necessarily legitimate, but it got the job done and it was hugely beneficial.
Let me pull out the big guns, one at a time.

James Madison
#75 to #70 - Rascal (02/16/2013) [-]
Too much power with one man is always a bad thing, james madison started the war of 1812, and left the whitehouse to burn with his wife still there.
User avatar #80 to #75 - srskate ONLINE (02/16/2013) [-]
Wrong again, he did not start the war, the war was inevitable.

The british were having a bit of a hard time accepting american independence. One way they demonstrated this was by arming the native americans in hopes they would attack american settlements, which they did. Additonally, britain was capturing and impressing US merchants for trying to trade with France. The war was an inevitable result.

Even so, James Madison did not declare war, nor did he start it. Once it was started, however, he manned up. He went and fought alongside of all the troops, becoming the only president to serve in the army while president.

He also did not abandon his wife. He was away, and his wife, being a strong woman, went through the whitehouse and saved a ******* of historic art from being burned.
#85 to #80 - Rascal (02/16/2013) [-]
He discontinued trade with britian, causing britian to declare war, he said in letters he wanted to war with france as well, and the whole thing could've been avoided by simply waiting it out, but he took matters in his own hands. Considering it could've destroyed the still infant nation it was a bad idea.
User avatar #89 to #85 - srskate ONLINE (02/16/2013) [-]
Discontinuing trade with a nation that has been forcibly enlisting your citizens seems reasonable. The Non-Intercourse act surely beats the embargo.
And waiting for more attacks from native americans is not the course of action for a great president.

Finally, I can't find anything on these letters. I'm pretty sure Madison didn't wanna **** with Napoleon.
#93 to #89 - Rascal (02/16/2013) [-]
And we were selling arms to the french, their enemy as they were selling to ours, Madison was greedy and wanted to sell to both sides during the war between france and england, it was hardly unprovoked what england did, does the US not impose sanctions on countries for supplying arms to our enemies today?
User avatar #103 to #93 - srskate ONLINE (02/16/2013) [-]
We were a non-combatant. We were simply engaging in trade. Additionally, you cannot call a president greedy simply because he tried to pull a fledgling nation out of a depression.

England's actions weren't unprovoked, per se, but they were outrageous. They basically participated in international kidnapping. Liam Neeson wouldn't have had that ****
#106 to #103 - Rascal (02/16/2013) [-]
If china sells warheads to North korea, you think the UN wouldn't retaliate, they're just trading right? And yes if you trade lives for money that is greed.
User avatar #116 to #106 - srskate ONLINE (02/16/2013) [-]
And you think the UN wouldn't retaliate if China started kidnapping US citizens?
#119 to #116 - Rascal (02/16/2013) [-]
If the US was arming someone ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN WAR with china, it's not exactly off base for china to retaliate.
User avatar #121 to #119 - srskate ONLINE (02/16/2013) [-]
If china is already our enemy, I don't see why not.
#122 to #121 - Rascal (02/16/2013) [-]
Because it's not smart to get into a war with a country that has the potential to completely destroy us?
User avatar #129 to #122 - srskate ONLINE (02/16/2013) [-]
If they are pushing for war, might as well do it while we are prepared and they are not. And guess what, we won that war, with the personal aid of the president, and it kciked us into an era of nationalism and kickassery. It made other countries actually respect us, and was critical to the founding of our nation. In other words, we ****** rocked it.
#132 to #129 - Rascal (02/16/2013) [-]
They only pushed for war for supplying a serious threat to them with a huge number or arms. The war essentially split the nation in two nearly causing a succession then leading to increased tensions leading to the civil war. And again, he traded lives for money, that is not a man i'd call great.
User avatar #135 to #132 - srskate ONLINE (02/16/2013) [-]
On count one, ********

On count Two. ********
this didn't split the nation, it unified it. The only dissonance was between the democrat-republicans and the federalists, and the death of the federalists can be blamed on the alien and sedition acts as well as the Embargo

#144 to #135 - Rascal (02/16/2013) [-]
A- They were pushing war because we were selling to the french.
B- The new england states were trying to succeed.
C- Again, supplying somone's enemy isn't going to make people happy, we were threatening england by trading with france.

B- That succession thing, how did that work out?
C-Trading with people isn't cause for war.
#151 to #148 - Rascal (02/16/2013) [-]
A- If you threaten their nation they have a right to be upset, we're imposing sanctions on Iran for near parallel reasons, they're threatening security..

C- Refer to point A.
User avatar #180 to #144 - srskate ONLINE (02/16/2013) [-]

For all you people saying Jefferson was an Atheist. He was not, he was a diest. He believed in God, but not in divine intervention.
#82 to #79 - ExorArgus (02/16/2013) [-]
He could have been lying to not be prosecuted.
User avatar #83 to #82 - colcrockett (02/16/2013) [-]
Well obviously you are not familiar with American philosophy and government. He could not be prosecuted because of the 1st amendment. Deism was a common enlightenment era philosophy.
#87 to #83 - ExorArgus (02/16/2013) [-]
By prosecuted i mean personally, he probably wouldn't be respected at all and maybe killed as a heretic.
User avatar #88 to #87 - colcrockett (02/16/2013) [-]
You are a dumbass. The whole purpose of the founding of this country was to escape religious persecution, persecution being the word you should use, not prosecution. Nothing would have happened to him. He was one of the most respected men in the country.
User avatar #159 to #88 - konradkurze (02/16/2013) [-]
scumbag usa:

flees britain to escape religious persecution, then begins witch trials to commit religious persecution
#90 to #88 - ExorArgus (02/16/2013) [-]
Wrong the puritans came to america to prosecute people. Also if he was a "heretic" he wouldn't be respected at all.
User avatar #92 to #90 - colcrockett (02/16/2013) [-]
Are you ******* retarded? The puritans came to escape persecution by the English crown. They were also not the ones to set up the U.S. Puritans came in the mid-1600's. By 1776 their ideology had mostly disappeared. There were not more "heretics;" anyone could advocate whatever they wanted. Have you ever even heard of the 1st amendment?
#94 to #92 - ExorArgus (02/16/2013) [-]
They were being persecuted for persecuting people. Also how does an amendment exist before the country's constitution existed?
User avatar #96 to #94 - colcrockett (02/16/2013) [-]
Can i ask you something. Do you even know when Jefferson was president? The Puritans had an inherently puritanical form of Christianity at odds with the Anglican Church. Therefore they were persecuted by the English. They fled England and moved to Holland, which they also found was less than satisfactory, so they left for America. A solid 180 years before Jefferson's fatistration.
User avatar #97 to #96 - colcrockett (02/16/2013) [-]
The first amendment was also ratified when the country became an actual country, not just a colony.

By "at odds" the purtians were accosting people to join them (because they weren't christian enough) , so the church of england told them to stop. then they tried to start a violent revolution, they were told to **** off. So they did.
User avatar #104 to #101 - colcrockett (02/16/2013) [-]
Actually no, you are wrong. The Anglican Church had been consistently and harassing the Puritans for not accepting their beliefs. The English enacted laws limiting their rights because of their ideas. In turn, they decided to get the hell out of dodge and thats what they did.
#113 to #104 - ExorArgus (02/16/2013) [-]
Not because of their idea but their actions, They were pretty much religion extremists in a very docile way. But say you had an organization. And that organization got big enough for sub-groups to start branching out. then one of those sub-groups tried to infiltrate it. You'd be pretty pissed.
User avatar #117 to #113 - colcrockett (02/16/2013) [-]
Indoctrination is key to any philosophy or religions survival. They never harmed anyone. In fact, they were ardent pacifists. All of this aside, you have not siad anything about Jefferson. He was not a puritan and neither was anyone else in the country at the time. We truly had religious freedom, as we do know.

I hope the elections don't become some stupid milestone race instead of a merit race. "Omg this person is a woman/asian/hispanic/gay let's vote them in instead of the person who actually has the skills to lead America!" It will spell a quick end for our country.
#336 to #320 - Rascal (02/17/2013) [-]
the elections are controlled by the media, whoever they want to win will win. America hasn't "voted a person who actually has the skills to lead America" since the 1800's.

We are a country full of sheep and we only do what the media tells us instead of researching real candidates that should win.

Why? We're the ones making the robots. Making a robot religious is easier than to force down on a person. Why the hell one would do that, i dont know, and the robots logic circuits would have to be programmed to simply ignore it

No, I mean I've been to an all gay, gay led, gay run, gay funded church where everybody and their father likes dick in their butt hole. They also like Jesus, and not just for his rock hard abs and heavenly penis. They simply don;t have a legalistic view on the Bible.
User avatar #174 to #170 - konradkurze (02/16/2013) [-]
well given how many times the bible has been rewritten, perhaps they found a copy of an old one that pre-dated the anti-gay that was written into the new books by homophobes

i feel like there probably have been atheist presidents but they knew that if they admitted it, they would lose a HUGE chuck of the votes...just my theory. also, have a funny picture
