Depends on where you move.

Move to Alice Springs, deal with ungodly heat (Though that applies to everywhere during Summer), move to Eastern Australia, storms and floods every ******* year, also in Summer. Move anywhere else, ******* bush fires. Theres quite a few assholes too, but then quite a lot are nice guys. And finally, I ******* hate the government we have.

But then, it's alright. I guess. Maybe I'm just bored of it, living here my whole life.

Victoria has occasional bush fires, but I think the downside to Victoria is the fact thats where **** like gangs seem to set up shop, in Melbourne. I've been living in southeast Queensland, near Brisbane for nearly 17 years. (My whole life.)

And yes, the weather is seriously ****** . Where I live, just recently, for like a month, there was NO rain. AT ALL. Lawns were going brown and everything and the heat was ungodly, at one stage it reached like, 40 degrees Celsius and mostly it was over 35 during this **** . Then one day, STORMS AND HURRICANES. The winds went SO ******* high, with constant rain that didn't stop for days and this continued for another 2 weeks. Then suddenly "Lolkay I'm done." That ******* wind caused a tree in my backyard to fall over and crush a fence, and in my neighbours yard, a big ass piece of another tree to fall over into their garden and crush a bunch of said garden.

Alcohol is also plentiful. Disturbingly plentiful. Like, I am the only Australian I've ever met that doesn't want to drink alcohol.

It actually kind of pisses me off because everyone acts like it's a criminal offence to not drink.

I might get thumbed down for this but i'll say it anyway.
I saw this when it was in new uploads, and I saw it had a negative thumb, or no thumbs or something and I thumbed it up to be nice. I never expected it would make front page, and now that I've seen it make it all the way here, I'm so proud. This must be how girls feel when they have a baby. I'm just so happy.

User avatar #52 to #27 - bladebites (02/16/2013) [-]
We do, though there used to be more when I was younger, and they had a different name that wasn't "Kinder Surprise". They were close to the same thing, but they usually has a bunch of smaller candies inside rather than a toy. That might be what he's talking about.
User avatar #56 to #52 - HarvietheDinkle (02/16/2013) [-]
You're probably talking about the Wonder Ball.

I'm talking about the Kinder Surprise.
User avatar #58 to #56 - bladebites (02/16/2013) [-]
Oh **** , I am talking about the Wonder Ball. Well, they do sell Kinder Surprise if you look hard enough, so I believe you. It is illegal, but in little shops around the place you can sometimes find them at the cashier just sitting there like it's all good anyway. I've never found any, but last year a friend of mine brought like six back from California.
User avatar #60 to #58 - HarvietheDinkle (02/16/2013) [-]
Then I'm totally confused.

My 83-year-old grandmother, as far as I know, doesn't shop at shady stores; only large grocery store chains. And she still gets them.
User avatar #28 to #27 - HarvietheDinkle (02/16/2013) [-]
Well, I live in New Jersey, and I'm pretty sure my grandmother (who lives 2 miles away) doesn't have them imported before she gives them to me.

IsnĀ“t is against the law to have toys in food in the U.S. ?
User avatar #39 to #30 - ishalltroll (02/16/2013) [-]
Yes because amerifags are supposedly retarded and kept choking on the toys after swallowing the egg as a whole.

Doesn't invalidate my point that food with toys are indeed sold in the US.

Okay guys
I know these things are illegal in America

But can someone please tell me why?
User avatar #116 to #106 - philippinessucks (02/17/2013) [-]
It's illegal here to put non-food items, INSIDE of food.

In our culture, it would be akin to putting razor blades in Halloween chocolates.

Or hypodermic needles inside of brownies....
#107 to #106 - anon (02/17/2013) [-]
Because American kids are so fat that they'd choke on the toy because they shoved the whole egg in their mouth.
User avatar #86 - kanatana (02/16/2013) [-]
I used to live in Germany on an American military base with my mom and siblings. Every time we went to market off base, we would get one or two of these each, and it would be the highlight of my week. I got so many cool things, but my favorite of all would have to be those little models you put together. Sadly... when my parents divorced, and my mom was deemed unfit to be a parent, all of my Kinder Egg toys got left in Michigan. I don't know what happened to them, but I hope they're making some other kid happy these days.

Lucky little bastard.
