I always thought dividing by 0 was the worst, but it isn't. 0/0 is. Why?

1: Any number divided by itself is 1.

2: 0 divided by any number is 0.

3: Any number divided by 0 is undefined.

Thus it contradicts itself in three ways.

Dividing by zero isn't the difficulty. Dividing by zero and getting an accurate result is.

Well technically if you divide something by nothing, then shouldn't it be equal to the original thing?
User avatar #10 to #3 - thegrimreaver (02/14/2013) [-]
Imagine division as breaking something up into smaller pieces. Dividing by two gives you two halves, 3 gives you three pieces. Now try to imagine breaking it into zero pieces.
