American Football Logic. Mr. Krabs can only afford to keep half of the stadium lit.. REAL MEN PLAY FOOTBALL CAUSE THAT' S SCARY. Or because it's the superbowl so they need all the equipment to watch replays so there are no bad calls for the biggest game of the year

then wtf are the refs for?
#241 to #232 - allthespaghetti (02/13/2013) [-]
They call penalties and stop the plays with their whistle. For example, if a guy falls to his knee, he is down. When a guy goes down, the whistle is blown so no cheap shots are thrown in. Refs basically try to keep the game clean.

yyeah they make the calls and manage how the game is going. you don't need electricity for that
#243 to #242 - allthespaghetti (02/13/2013) [-]
No, but read the other comments and you will see why they need the electricity
#244 to #243 - allthespaghetti (02/13/2013) [-]
I mean, no you dont need electricity for refs
User avatar #90 to #42 - critique (02/13/2013) [-]
Yea... maybe...
Or maybe it's because the companies that payed billions of dollars on those electronic ads that run all the way around the stadium would lose their **** if their ads only worked for half of the game.
#96 to #90 - allthespaghetti (02/13/2013) [-]
That too.

Almost none of the equipment was working, so they couldn't deliver truly accurate reports of plays.

they shouldn't need ******* equipment, just the referees and the scoreboard
User avatar #247 to #233 - cshp (02/13/2013) [-]
It's not like the equipment makes it more accurate or anything. It's like a scope on a sniper; sure you can go without it, but it is much better to have it.

If the officials say "don't play", you don't play. I'm sure some of them were itching to continue, but couldn't do anything about it.

Are you serious right now? Maybe, just maybe, its because they couldn't ******* see?

Look at the picture. I don't know about you, but I can see just fine.

Granted, there were other issues with the announcing system and whatnot, but I can assure you sight wasn't the inhibitor.

Half the stadium lights we're out and it was late at night, its an unfair advantage to the other team. Besides, who even cares? It lasted 5 minutes. My team lost.
#113 to #107 - pedobearsepicness (02/13/2013) [-]
Idk if anyone saw, but they were still throwing the ball around on the sidelines. Its not that they couldnt see, but rather that the announcers microphones were disabled.

K?

Charles' suspicions had manifested themselves in a form visible yet subtle, and Aven's breath caught in her throat when she saw it.

Jack had no shadow.
