That's probably what the afterlife is, just one massive trip.

I'm perfectly happy with the afterlife being a trip.

As a teen I tried just about every religion I could find enough info on, but none of them felt right. I lack 'faith' in anything, so I guess I'll just vanish into nothingness.

If able to choose, I'd like to be a ghost for a while, helping out people I like and screwing over people I dislike until I got bored, then maybe reincarnate as someone else.

Well, if you are a good person, you go to heaven, where there is a beer volcano and a stripper factory, and all sorts of other things to. If you are bad, you go to hell, where all the beer is stale and all of the strippers have STDs. The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster gives us some solid fact based theoretical proof on that.

I think it's best not to know. Who knows what lies beyond our life. If we do find out that there is eternal life after this one many people would obviously prefer that over a mortal life. Things like this is much more complex as it seems and I for one follow my personal belief that if it's out of my league I should let some one else deal with it.(Or at least until I gain enough knowledge to do so) Who am I to question our existence, as ignorant as it might seem

TL;DR: Let pros deal with finding out. I'm just here to speculate why it might be a bad thing

I believe in the christian heaven. Although what lies within I have no idea. Im not even fully convinced it will be eternal bliss, maybe just like an eternal awkward dinner party with all your dead relatives that slowly gets more bad ass as your friends start dying too.

Myself, I look towards a combination of Science and Religion.
Quantum/Atomic Physics, and Buddhism, more accurately.

I think that every person has consciousness - Meaning something that transcends the body. Very comparable to the 'soul', or 'spirit'. When you die, your Consciousness becomes again aware of Nirvana, or the Quantum Field. What that is, is basically what reality actually is when you take out the interference of perception.

Basically, your consciousness is a piece of 'God'. Everyone has it. Everyone is 'God'. 'God' is everyone. All is one. One is all. Basic teachings of religions - And Science would probably agree on that conclusion to a large extent.

There are a !! lot !! of reasons why I believe in this. Always glad to share.

It's astral projection, except your cord is cut ( astral projectors know what i'm talking about), if you don't, the cord is the silver line that connects your spirit to your body. When you die it's no longer there, so you're just a roaming spirit. You can imagine ****, fly to other planets and ****, etc. That's just my take on it.

Holy ****. People actually watch Spirit Science?

Just had a bit of a hopegasm. If you ever have questions about the truth behind that kind of stuff, I'd be happy to share everything I've learned. If not - I hope you keep on learning, man.
