You know how Trix used to have fruit shaped pieces instead of the boring ass spheres?

What if the pieces are still fruit shaped, but we just can't see them because Trix are for kids?

Yeah, I know. I heard it a year or two ago and I don't remember where I heard it from. I did make the picture, though. And I've never seen the joke posted on this site.

Welp, looks like you exposed my elaborate scandal, time to go hang myself.

Actually, Trix originally came out in spherical forms.
Trix first appeared in 1954. It originally had three different colors and they were all spheres. It wasn't until 1992 did Trix switch to those fun little fruit shapes instead. In 2006 they switched back to their original form, although there are many theories as to why they made the change back there's no official word from General Mills offering their reason.

Exactly, and the real reason she shouldn't have been able to play it is because it's a ******* M rated game, and maybe if we actually followed the ratings, people wouldn't be so stupid.

Ratings mean nothing to parents who will give into their 12 year old kid who wants to buy Black Ops 2.

**** humanity.
User avatar #45 to #30 - taintedangel (02/07/2013) [-]
But we know better. So we will end up following the ratings that our parent's never understood. And when our 7 year old kids want COD 25, we will tell them no and get them Mario and Pokemon like they should be playing.
User avatar #91 to #45 - Marker ONLINE (02/07/2013) [-]
And get them the slightly more violent games (if they want them) when they're old enough to understand the concept of life and death and that violence outside of video games is wrong.

Hopefully, it will work out by then.
User avatar #95 to #91 - taintedangel (02/07/2013) [-]
The problem is also the fact that new parents tend to buckle over when their kid starts crying for things like an iPhone and the newest gory/violent/M-rated game, very expensive clothing, ect. Parents need to learn to to say 'no' to their kids, or at least teach them to earn the money to buy it themselves, that way they'll learn the value of a dollar.
User avatar #99 to #95 - Marker ONLINE (02/07/2013) [-]
Which is exactly why I enjoy having my own money in the form of a bank account, gift cards, and straight cash.

And even before having a debit card (for things online), if I wanted something that I didn't need (such as TF2 when it still cost money), my parents would pay for it with their card and I would pay them back.
User avatar #104 to #99 - taintedangel (02/07/2013) [-]
That was my same upbringing.

Desensitization to violence is the only thing that separates the strong from the week, why do you think they do it to our military? Without it, people would not know what to do in warlike situations which are inevitable, ever been to morbid? I have seen people be beheaded. Do I act violent? No, I am extremely passive aggressive, unless violence is warranted. It is the only thing that keeps people from losing their **** when it all goes down. If you can act calm when the ************ 2 feet from you loses his ******* head let me know, I can't do it, and I have been playing violent video games since I was 6, one of the first games I ever owned was Goldeneye, and when I got a ps2 my first game was GTA3, along with Nightfire, and Agent Under Fire. While I am not stating that children should be exposed to sexual themes and other things, I don't believe violence in games has anything to do with violent actions. This is not chewing you out over anything, this is just an argument against nuts who claim violent video games create violent people.

And then the little girl couldn't buy it anyway, because while Halo 4 is not strictly for boys, you still have to be seventeen to buy it.

Do you need an ID to buy M games? I've never been asked for one, but my brother claims they won't let him buy M games, despite the fact that he's 17.
