Say, did I ever tell you about the
time Brother Horatius battled
Abaddon the Despoiler?
Well, it was during the 12th Black
Crusade, on Talos IX. We had
been fighting the Traitor Legions
for months, and you could smell
the chared flesh on the hot

Space Wolves put civilians first, Imperial Guard last, and themselves above the enemy.
They are also the only chapter to consume alcohol.
Space Wolves = Space Vikings, basically.
Salamanders made their priority getting the non-combatants out of the combat zone during the Horus Heresy. Once that was done, they slapped the other chapters **** around until they smartened the **** up and got their **** together.
My favourite is still the Grey Knights. Anything that can **** up Nurgle and live to tell the tale, then proceed to beat Khorne beserkers in hand to hand combat, all while not giving a **** , is alright in my book.
Favourite race has to be Imperial Guard, though. They do everything a space marine does. Without the armor.

Or even better:
Tell the men the cavalry has arrived. Ready to unleash ELEVEN Barrells of Hell. ALL GUNS! ON MY MARK! All Guardsmen, Follow me to glory!
Who's Good at dyin' now?
- Baneblade Commander
User avatar #105 to #104 - salai (02/08/2013) [-]
Even better if you let the Baneblade flank the enemy
it would be tough, basically you'd need a tactical genCREEEEEEEEEEEED!

Though there are chapters who would actually do this, they are few and far. Most would have never even noticed a pathetic human, or their pitiful emotions.

Brother, have you forgotten yourself?

To adequately protect the common man, one must know the common man, and also the next generation of exemplary youth that we may draw recruits from. You may never know from whom your surprise shall be drawn.

Well there are every chapter descending from the Ultramarines.
I mean, every one who serves in the PDF forces in the domain of the Ultramarines gets returned to their home planet if the fall in battle. (unless someone decides to exterminatus the planet or similar)
