Seriously the lighter thing. It's hardly even zoomed in. Why does it have weird colours like that..
User avatar #24 to #20 - Mahazama (02/05/2013) [-]
Because they soom in using an electron microscope, which comes out in BW, whence false color is assigned for to allow for distinguishing.
User avatar #28 to #24 - sausageparty (02/05/2013) [-]
I see. But why did they use an electron microscope to zoom in like 3x. I think a normal lens would have been sufficient.

Lol, Hey guys what should we do with this microscope that can visualize on the near atomic level? How about we take a look at this lighter's nozzle!

The lighter one is pathetic, all I have to do is hold it up to my face.

#78 to #74 - nahsahsenn (02/05/2013) [-]
im afraid they are no more....i researched it and kelloggs and oreos have had a falling out and oreo os will never be again....

It's actually Post and Kraft that fell out. Kraft Foods owned Post, but they eventually left. Post kept the recipe for Oreo O's, but Kraft has the trademark for Oreos. Neither can legally make the product.

It's rumored they still sell it in South Korea.

I am a physics major.
My lab partners used a scanning electron microscope on a computer chip.
This was the result.
