Can't you see that you're not making music society better, and just making music worse?

"All we gotta do is just take some songs and change things like 'baby' to 'Jesus' and people will buy our records."

"That'll never work."

"It worked for Creed!"

Demon Hunter, christian melodic death metal and also my display picture. I'm firmly atheist, but they are by far my favourite band.

when I was 16 my friend was made to go to this hella gay Bible youth weekend in my town, it was held in a big horse showground, and they slept in stables. She begged me to come because she'd be sharing a stable with another girl and her boyfriend, who would of course be noisily fondling allll night long (because Christian teens are randy buggers due to their suppressed shame and years of fighting natural feelings.)

I said I would go with her, to my surprise I was greeted with a £50 charge for ONE NIGHT. **** that. I grabbed her little pass thing, went home quickly and just made my own copy with my own face on it. Went back, let me straight in, because Christians are stupid and obviously wouldn't expect one of their flock to be devious.

ANYWAYS got into the place, God it was awful. Christian "rock" bands everywhere, they were absolutely ghastly. The kids all swaying around thinking they were all hardcore...ugh nonoono the atmosphere in Christian places I just can't stand. They all think they're so wonderful.

Moral of the story is, Christian Rock is pure ***** , if you do have to listen to them, make sure you don't pay.

but...there is no such thing as general christian.
christianity is divided, and full of various kinds of people.
both good and bad, but we in the east dont have such... characteristic specimens that are operating in the western world.

Christian rock is still better than Skrillex, Deadmau5, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber

What i hate about christian rock is the fact that its christian rock. Why emphasize that your christian, it isn`t needed.

While I'd normally agree, there's this one guy named Neal Morse who writes some of the most amazing Progressive music I've ever heard. It's not really Christian Rock, it's more like Progressive rock with Christian themes.

I'm not even Christian.

I don't even believe in God.
