Gave this view as an open statement a few years back and got kicked out of school because apparently it was against the schools rules to discuss personal opinions as a student but teachers can try and shove **** down someones throats and not even get a slap on the wrist

Not sure why I'm opening up to FJ, but I figured I would log off and tell a bit of my story in response to this comment.

I was in five foster homes before I turned of age. I've been mentally abused and physically abused (in more than a few ways). I promised myself that my situation would not govern me. To do that I needed to stop blaming people for my situation, stop feeling sorry for myself, and act on the present. Now that I look back at my past I can say that the evil I went through has made me who I am. Among the emotions that flood through my chest when I take a deep look inward, the one that has been my salvation was forgiveness for those that wronged me, especially if they haven't asked for it (all of them haven't).

During every first date or hangout with a girl, I would think about how she would react if I told her that I was raped every other night when I was eight or how I was forced to have sex with my brothers and sisters in front of a camera. I would constantly think about their hypothetical face and feel a mixture of frustration and hopelessness. I felt crazy.

Anyone who has been consistently sexually abused can tell you that you carry such a weight for the rest of your life, a feeling like your soul is always weeping but your body has lost the ability to cry. Anyone who has been beaten can tell you that you will always fear the sound of footsteps outside a door, that helpless urge to hide somewhere no one can see. Anyone who has been neglected can tell you that the morbid fear of rejection never goes away, that you will always fear the silence of an empty apartment. But I will tell you, as someone who has experienced a colorful variety of these hells, that **** happens and you can either feel sorry for yourself or move on and deal with the problems as they come.

I was an unwanted child with a ****** life... and I'm very happy to be alive. I know you think you're smarter than us, but let us make the decision for ourselves please!

In my school it's the other way around. Students are encouraged to have opinions that are different, but all hell breaks loose if a teacher expresses an opinion to the class and presents it as being "right".

And though topics like religion are 'taboo' subjects, the teachers in the English and social science departments make a pretty convincing point. You can't understand Puritan or Renaissance work without learning about the religious ideas of the time. Nor can you understand sociology without understanding how religion shapes a culture. In debate classes like contemporary issues, religious views play a pretty decent role in what moral beliefs you have. As long as it's presented as a subject to learn about, but not necessarily one to agree with, it's fine with the school board.

MFW/Teachers FW we get students complaining that religion is being shoved down their throat at school.

My most utter respect to you, sir.

I personally know what it's like to be prosecuted for having a "wrong" opinion, incompatable with your school's/teacher's. But you know what, fight what you believe in- it's the only war worth dedicating yourself to, a fight for truth and being able to have an opinion without having a bunch of assholes try and feed you disinformational rubbish.

I don't really think there's anything wrong with abortions. A woman might not be a slut. contraception has a nasty way of failing. She could have been raped. she might not be ready for kids. The baby could be born into a situation where it has little to no quality of life or the woman could die from giving birth to it.

But people don't think about the woman's welfare, all they think of is the unborn, largely unformed fetus.

Contraception has a nasty way of failing? That's why you do anal. Not ready for kids and would be a bad parent? Adoption agencies really aren't that hard to find. Furthermore, abortion is still completely legal for fetuses well into the third trimester.

I don't get why people feel the need to protest this. If someone who has been raped and impregnated wants an abortion, how does that affect your life? You don't know the woman, Christ knows you would never have known the child. How does it affect your life in the slightest? People should be able to live their own lives without being crucified in the media.

For the small percentage of conservative republicans that get put on tv for entertainment, they fight everything about abortion. The normal ones, however, just don't want to PAY for abortions. That the root of the problem that liberals don't like to address. They turn "we don't want to pay for you to get an abortion or other contraceptives with our tax dollars" into "we want to take away your rights as females, so no abortion for you!" Since much of the media is liberal, usually they present it from the liberal point of view, further pushing the "playing the victim" agenda.
TL;DR: You only see the crazy ones picketing against abortion.

I have it all planned out - Newborn babies are registered with the state. Academic performance and social interaction is monitored throughout the first 18 years of their life, and on their 18th birthday their past actions are weighed along with genetic traits to see if breeding would be in society's best interest. Undesirable people are forcibly sterilized, reeducated, and sent to labor camps or the military. The state will do monthly checks for unregistered children. If any are found, the parents are either sent to a labor camp or exterminated, while the child is trained to be in the secret police. Citizens will work until age 65, the age they're euthanised. Those who openly rebel are "unbirthed," a process in which they're killed and all records mentioning them are destroyed.

I personally think it's sick to force a woman to carry a child that she doesn't want. If I ever got pregnant and didn't want it for whatever reason, I would feel disgusted if I had my rights stripped away.
If people are pro-life they should be more concerned about why women miscarry, about banning death penalties, not interfering themselves into other peoples lives.
