It's not only Django, though. Pretty much every Tarantino movie is like that. Kill Bill is definitely like that, and even Pulp Fiction has a moment of massive blood splatters:

"Aw, man, I shot Marvin in the face."

False. The only anime with that much blood are either terrible or purposely over-the-top.

Proof is in the picture.

This scene made me cringe.

i always love tarantino movies, pulp fiction being definitely the best ever with reservoir dogs,

but damn, sometimes the evidence that he stole his style from other directors just depresses

Pulp Fiction is ******* amazing! Jackie Brown was good too
User avatar #46 to #35 - tvfreakuk (01/31/2013) [-]
Something you have to remember is that nothing is new in cinema. His using of a similar style isn't "mwhahaha I'm going to take that style!" it's just using a style that has literally been around for years and years since even since the creation of cinema. Whether it's the story, or how it's filmed, or how the characters act etc.
It isn't exactly stealing, and there isn't use in complaining if a combination of other styles are able to create a simply fantastic film for the audience to enjoy.

Django is a ******* cool movie, i don´t knw why it gets so bad critics
User avatar #30 to #7 - anonymoose (01/31/2013) [-]
I've yet to see anyone say it wasn't a masterpiece.
#38 to #7 - anon (01/31/2013) [-]
Because people dont actually fly 10 feet when they are shot. There wont be a cloud of blood when you shoot them. Negroes wouldnt be able to talk to white men they wat Django does.
User avatar #10 to #7 - cysco (01/31/2013) [-]
bad critics? it has an IMBd Rating of 8.7 stars and in some weeks it will probably be in the Top 20 Movies of all time. On Rotten TOmatoes it has 92% positive Reviews by professional critics..

this picture is a joke based on tarantinos style and not a bad critic.. so how do you get to your statement?
User avatar #32 to #10 - jjgf (01/31/2013) [-]
ok, but in spain, my country, Django got some bad critiques.
User avatar #15 to #10 - brenton (01/31/2013) [-]
Dear lord people, it's "critique" when using the word this way. A "bad critic" is a person who is bad at critiquing.

Why would you not respond to jjgf with this? He used it first. cysco just copied.
User avatar #48 to #29 - brenton (01/31/2013) [-]
Because he was the second person to do it. If only cysco had done it, I probably wouldn't have taken the time to point it out.
User avatar #51 to #48 - cysco (01/31/2013) [-]
it is okay to point it out.. i learned something i didnt learned in 11 years of school where i had english lessons.

just your reaction shocked me with "dear lord people,...".. i bet 90% of europeans (except UK) couldnt write it the right way and probably many americans aswell.. it is likely on the internet and on funnyjunk that people arnt native english speaker, so excuse my mistakes. i will try to make it right, the next time.. i am not sure if jjgf is from america or UK, but i if not, he will agree with me.

Ok, well allow me to clarify then. A critique (cri-teek) is an analyses of something, and a critic (cri-tick) is someone who performs the analysis.
