Dude, over here in Iowa, we had an ice storm on Sunday, thunderstorms on Monday, and a winter storm from Tuesday to Wednesday.
It got up to the 50s sometime in December and the next day it was back down to the teens.

******* Midwest states, I tell you hwhat.

TOLEDO
User avatar #128 to #47 - theangryraker (01/31/2013) [-]
Hey that was taken down near the docks, it's only like 5 blocks from me but it is so dead down there it's basically a home for bums in the wooded area across from the parking lots and the couple resturants they have down there to get wasted at. Oh and don't forget the road to nowhere. At least were #1 in something. Oh and dont forget one of the most depressing citys in the country or so says yahoo :/
#58 to #47 - anon (01/31/2013) [-]
Thats only because the crossroads of america is there...the highway going from mich to florida and the highway going to california to maine meet up right by where I live
User avatar #50 to #47 - sheepysquirrel (01/31/2013) [-]
Woot! That photos makes the river look so clean..it's actually more like sweet tea color and tastes like water and dead fish.
User avatar #51 to #50 - duvallwhitey (01/31/2013) [-]
And it isnt showing the half of the city of broken windows and hobo homes.
User avatar #52 to #51 - sheepysquirrel (01/31/2013) [-]
Well downtown is pretty nice except the building near Toledo Edison cause half are boarded up or fenced off it seems.
But yes, thanks to Food For Thought there are a lot of homeless getting off the street. Tent City should be coming up.
User avatar #53 to #52 - duvallwhitey (01/31/2013) [-]
Ever been to Spaghetti Warehouse?
Thats one of my favorite places in Toledo.
Not to mention Tony Packos
User avatar #54 to #53 - sheepysquirrel (01/31/2013) [-]
Of course, we used to go on field trips (the honor roll kids of that year) when I went to East Side Central.
Tony Packo's is apparently really famous, a friend said he saw some celebrity there before.

User avatar #55 to #54 - duvallwhitey (01/31/2013) [-]
Oh Presidents and Movie stars and all sorts of people.
Tony Packos once catered for M.A.S.H.
#56 to #55 - sheepysquirrel (01/31/2013) [-]
:O I heard that but only like a week ago did I find out.

If you live in Toledo you and me are going to have hot gay sex.

User avatar #119 to #116 - annaisocoolike (01/31/2013) [-]
yeah it's very windy here as well, power went out in a lot of our schools.
User avatar #120 to #115 - theangryraker (01/31/2013) [-]
Same here sir, but northwest. And apparently a **** ton of wind today, tomorrow we might have floods or a tornado. You know, the regular.
User avatar #124 to #120 - annaisocoolike (01/31/2013) [-]
yeah it is super windy here too. a lot of power outages. and after the flood of 2006 i am so prepared haha
User avatar #131 to #124 - theangryraker (01/31/2013) [-]
Did you hear about the Lake High School being taken out by the tornado in 2010? It was kinda cool because you could see the transformers blow from 10 miles away. It kinda looked like bluish fireworks going off in the distance.

One of these days, I will ride that when it fails to reach the top and falls backwards.
User avatar #99 to #39 - Tvfreek (01/31/2013) [-]
It actually does. Alot. Mostly when there are too many fat people on it.
P.s. ive lived in georgetown, hubbard, west chester, mt. Orab, and austintown. All in ohio.
User avatar #133 to #99 - zgbgydug ONLINE (01/31/2013) [-]
I've been there many times and at least once every visit it has fallen backwards and I've always wanted to be on it when it did.
#41 to #26 - Azz (01/31/2013) [-]
I was at Cedar point and watched it go off. One dude was sitting in front, leaning as far forward as he could pointing in front of him with both hands (also yelling like an idiot). It took off and he slammed backwards into the seat xD

******* hilarious I tell you.

I want to ride this but I was told I was too thin. No joke. #firstworldamericanproblems

As an Ohioan I would agree with you, except this image does not show our insane weather patterns.
#100 to #48 - anon (01/31/2013) [-]
Pretty much the whole Midwest has strange/unpredictable weather patterns, and each state claims it's unique only to them.
User avatar #88 - themaaster (01/31/2013) [-]
Ohio, the state responsible for the creation of the modern world.
Thomas Edison and the Wright brothers for the win.
