The one time I can actually remember having a lucid dream, I felt excited within my dream because of the fact that I realised I was dreaming, then I immediatly woke up because I was too excited

you can spin in the dream.
it helps keep you dreaming.
btw it doesn't say it obviously enough, but if you want to have lucid dreaming, you must keep a dreaming journal. without it, most efforts wouldn't matter much.

That often happens on your first time. Try again.

Reminds me of a dream I had some day before.
Be in forest, hear some strange noises.
'There is no source for this noises in the forest'
Then I remember this noises, every goddamn Wednesday our
cleaner runs amok with her mops.
' ******* hate that bitch'
Woke up.

That's very normal, a tip I used is making a routine when awake to stare at my hands. So when I discover I'm dreaming I'll focus on my hands in my dream to prevent myself from waking up.

Lucid Dreaming ftw

i got these for my birthday last week from a friend, he knew i was into LD. What he doesn't realize is that he bought me a harem and super powers.
#41 to #30 - lickilicky (01/31/2013) [-]
And then your harem turns into this.
#201 to #30 - hunterdubb (01/31/2013) [-]
Did they actually work for you?
#206 to #201 - pedobearproff (02/01/2013) [-]
not every time, no, but they make even non-lucid dreams vivid and really memorable.

But with a 50 count bottle, i have lots of attempts, so its not disappointing if one night fails. The CZ worked the one time I tried, but was almost half as expensive and only had 6.

Alright thanks a lot man. I think im just gonna start with Choline pills and work my way up. I want to try the galantamine but i read if youre not very experienced with lucid dreams it can really freak you out.

#193 to #172 - mrbip (01/31/2013) [-]
Omg! It feels like my fist weight too much for me to throw at them so they just collide slowly with the target...
I once woke up crying because of this.

Every time I begin to control and lucid dream, it kicks me out and I wake up. Pisses me off every time!

It happened last night when I turned quarters into covenant ships from Halo, and was about to Pilot an entire armada, but everything kept fading and fading until I woke up..

Dude, try rubbing your hands when you see the dream is fading away. Rub them really hard, it helps staying in the dream sometimes!

The only lucid dream I remember having was when I was younger. I was just standing in the middle of my room when I realized I was dreaming. Since this was my first lucid dream that I was kind of exited and just started doing dick all like blowing things up and firing kamehamehas (like you wouldn't have done the same thing). I then took an attempt at flying however I hit the roof of the world and woke up.
< mfw I woke up

Now people, there is a reason why we don't control our dreams. First, the brain needs to rest, continuous lucid dreaming, causes insomnia and ****** up health. Second ever heard of dream paralysis ? well it's something that will scare the **** out of you if it happens when you are trying too much to get a lucid dream. You wake up, can't move, shadows move uncontrollably, you hear weird sounds like woob woob woob. you get a panic attack and almost **** your self. Don't play with lucid dreams
User avatar #151 to #98 - praga (01/31/2013) [-]
And i thought that shadow thing is not common...and yes, I was scared ******** (feeling like it was approaching to me in weird moves, I couldn´t even look at it - not sure if I should regret that). Also those weird ass sounds, echoes..and such. All true
User avatar #152 to #98 - praga (01/31/2013) [-]

I heard that you aren't supposed to look in a mirror during dreams. If you do, you will see yourself as you see yourself deep down.
User avatar #115 to #50 - ihasapie (01/31/2013) [-]
That, a demon, or just a blurry or weird looking version of youself.

you know, the worst part is that i was confronted with my biggest fear: giant insects. they crawled all over my body and I wasn't able to move at all. to make it all worse, I didn't know what the **** was going on because it felt so real. this was the scariest thing that ever happened to me
#205 to #204 - starswirl (01/31/2013) [-]

Since I was a kid, I have always been able to do this. It came to me as a surprise actually, that it's not as common as I thought it was, when I first heard about it as a kid...

I only had a lucid dream once, I looked at my hands and they transformed into brick and mortar and I started smashing through walls and got too excited and woke up. MFW I've been trying to lucid dream ever since
