and the bands newest hit single "a war of the mind"

4 score and 7 years..ago I fought my fears..
when everyone had assumed; that I'd turn up just like you..

I fought the slavery! I fought the war at home!
there is no apology! that can be spoke!

Abraham shinoda:
you turned your back to what you fought for; you laughed when the bodies hit the floor
you tried and tried to break me
but then I proved you wrong; by taking down the great Lee

chester again:
I walk upon the streets; and all the tormet greets me
I cannot open my mind; to the monster that lives inside

I! WALK! a lonely road that's filled with doubt..
I!FOUGHT! a war that revolved around..

MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

It's kinda funny. Back when I was a kid my friend and I both were obsessed with Linkin Park. Over time though our musical tastes evolved. I now like metal/metalcore while he likes rap.

I used to enjoy rap and hip hop. I've moved on to melodic death/doom metal. I still listen to them from time to time though

I used to try to enjoy it, but in the end I just stopped trying and kept on listening to folk, black, meloblack, death etc.

metal, trying-to-fit-in music, back to metal, then it just progressed to heavier metal.

I mainly listen to Insomnium, Swallow the Sun, and Wintersun. Amon Amarth is what got me into metal. Started off with symphonic metal, Eternal Tears of Sorrow, then got into melo death/doom with Dark Tranquility and Wintersun. Lately I've been listening to Vader. Their Necropolis and Welcome to the Morbid Reich albums are pretty good

Linkin Park was my favourite until their album A Thousand Suns came out.

That album was ****, and their music quality just went downhill from there.

The main reason I disliked that album was the fact that 40% of the tracks weren't songs, they were interludes or instrumentals, i'm not saying those are bad, I love session and cure for the itch, but when you have a 15 track album, 6 of them shouldn't be instrumentals, The songs that were songs were okay, Wretches and Kings belongs on my top 10 list for their songs, but the rest are just... okay, Living Things is not a bad album, not their best by any stretch, but still better than 1000 sucks
