USS Iowa. I visited that ship after it was moved to the Port of Los Angeles.

I'm curious, how do you recognise that it's the Iowa?

I've seen that picture numerous times on the Iowa's Wikipedia page, on Google search, and on the museum in the ship itself.

Ships are built by class. (i.e. New York Class, Alaska Class, South Dakota Class.) And within those classes are individual ships, and these ships usually differ somewhat in appearance. The USS Iowa is an Iowa class battleship, as are the USS New Jersey, USS Missouri, and USS Wisconsin. They all look slightly different. Be it color, armament, or crew size.
