That's because you're curious. OP would only kill people who want to find out stuff. He'd probably kill more smart people and children than any stupid people that way.

Then why the **** does everyone seem so stupid to me?
User avatar #89 to #55 - ienjoyrofling (01/27/2013) [-]
Everyone you meet is smarter than you in some way. Everyone you meet can do something better than you can. While someone may seem stupid to you, due to a judgement based on 'They can't do math that well, therefore they are stupid' to them, the fact that you can't change your own oil, or some other handy-work skill, makes them think 'Sheesh, is this guy STUPID or what?'
User avatar #91 to #89 - EdwardNigma (01/27/2013) [-]
I don't think they're stupid for not doing math though.
I think they're stupid because everyone seems mindless, driven by what society tells them to do, not what they want, following every new trend like they die if they don't, it confuses me.
#101 to #100 - EdwardNigma (01/27/2013) [-]
But I don't ride trains.
User avatar #94 to #91 - ienjoyrofling (01/27/2013) [-]
But isn't good for them? To be in a mindless stupor of just happiness? Granite, a very worthless and meaningless happiness, but nevertheless, they still enjoy who they are and what not. And frankly, you might find it odd to see that 'I must do what society tells me' kind of people, are as evenly matched as 'I MUSN'T do what society tells me' because they're 2edgy4u, besides, we all follow a few trends ourself, nobody can deny that.
User avatar #95 to #94 - EdwardNigma (01/27/2013) [-]
I guess but, I don't follow trends. Following a trend implies I like it because others do.

I like something because I like it, I hate something because I hate it, it's real simple.
User avatar #96 to #95 - ienjoyrofling (01/27/2013) [-]
Actually, a trend just implies something getting popular, while you may not like it because of friends, a lot of people, even without knowing it, are heavily influenced by friends/family. Now, I get 'following a trend' is different from just a 'trend,' before you hop on that train.
User avatar #97 to #96 - EdwardNigma (01/27/2013) [-]

Did you know that there are several types of intelligence ? (about 8-9 - as proposed by Howard Gardner). As per the individual who left the previous comment, he is right. There is also another possible solution - that where you are an arrogant prick.

average IQ in the US is 98.
User avatar #119 to #7 - waaw (01/27/2013) [-]
He only did it in America. Everywhere else kept their stupid people, so there would probably only be a small adjustment, because USA has about 4% of the world's population.
User avatar #141 to #7 - KillinTime (01/27/2013) [-]
the iq is just the ability to learn
having a high iq does not make you smart, it's just easier to learn
ofc you can still refuse to learn and be an idiot
User avatar #157 to #141 - wiredgal (01/27/2013) [-]
No, he means that the whole point of the IQ system is that the world average is 100.
So if everyone got smarter, the average would still be 100, but it would mean something slightly different.

I get really tired of the news on TV

Its always about killing

and how we don't have money
and how we're spending too much

There is never anything happy

That depends on where you're from.
I lived in the U.S for a year as an exchange student, and I noticed that the news over there focused on the bad news. When I got home I was really happy to watch and read news about something else than how many people were killed this week.

User avatar #138 to #124 - ButtonFly (01/27/2013) [-]
I'd like it more if the news paid more attention to the civilians instead of the bad guys in many cases.
I really hate it when someone murders a guy and the murderer is the one who gets all the attention, especially if they want that attention. I definitely know there were cases when the murderer stopped and posed in front of security cameras and those poses were later put up all over the news.
I would much prefer it if the media doesn't grant these people the attention they so clearly crave and instead focus on the tragedy itself and remark how the town is banding together to helping each other through it.

The man painted grenades to look like easter eggs and pinned them to the sidewalk. Dumb people ran to pull them from the nails, cooking them, which then blew up and kill them.
User avatar #38 to #9 - ccamp (01/27/2013) [-]
why does picking up an easter egg make you dumb?
User avatar #46 to #38 - jokeface ONLINE (01/27/2013) [-]
Because a smart person would be able to see that the pin is nailed to the ground and therefore deduce that pulling the grenade away from it would cause the pin to be pulled resulting in an explosion.
User avatar #52 to #46 - infamoustrapper (01/27/2013) [-]
