That's all well and good, and I know you're right, but my keyboard doesn't have those letter modifiers and I'm, and I'm sure most other people, are too lazy to get it.

Nice knowledge of history. You must be an American intellectual. Enlighten me, when did the unified German state ever want to take over the world?

From what I understand the story was origionally irish, stemming from the Potato Famine, but the childrens names were localised by the Grimm Brothers when recorded in their big book of fiary tales.

>betraying your country

My uncle was killed by German firing squad and my grandfather, a survivor of Auschwitz. As such, I decree your ancestors as traitors who deserved it.

Were they Jews?

Well, my Great-grandfather was Catholic, and was French-German, while my Great-grandmother was Russian Orthodox, and was Russian-German.
You're a mutt, not German; as were they. No wonder they had no loyalties to their country.

A traitor is a traitor. What did Hitler do they was objectively, "wrong?" Do you consider the mass death of Germans, imposed by the allies, around 9 million dead, to be "wrong?" Were those apposing Communist and American onslaught not, "afraid to die for a better cause?"

More than 9 million Germans died as a result of deliberate Allied starvation and expulsion policies after World War II—one quarter of the country was annexed, and about 15 million people expelled in the largest act of ethnic cleansing the world has ever known. Over 2 million of these alone, including countless children, died on the road or in concentration camps in Poland and elsewhere. That these deaths occurred at all is still being denied by Western governments.

I like how the only way you can respond is by thumbing me down and shouting, "LOOK AT YOUR RED THUMBS LOL." I didn't even thumb you, on the other hand.

A rule of thumb for discussion on controversial topics is to not thumb, or rate, or morally and dogmatically behest a comment. That is what makes Reddit as a website laughable. Anything they don't like is buried.
