The liberals are seizing our liberty. The liberty our forefathers has fought will be gone.

If we banned guns, bad people still can manage to get it from black market. We, a good people, left nothing but melee weapon against the explosive one. Our life is threatened.

Sandy hook tragedy also a hoax. It is not caused by a mentally ill person, but rather a trained, probably soldier. It is said that Israel was responsible to this tragedy to teach american a lesson regarding the Middle East issue in United Nations assembly.

I have put the source to support my arguments. So your move liberals!

Not sure if trolling, or serious. Either way, you accidentally a few words. Gif related, it's how ridiculous you sound.

Seems unnecessary to have a country full of guns, kind of opens up a whole host of problems when literally anyone can get their hand on a lethal weapon in a matter of hours

Gun control =/= banning guns.

Because registration and restriction has never. Ever. Led to confiscation and outright bans.

It's just something that is almost impossible to control. People will still get there hands on weapons of any kind. Just look at prohibition, that didn't work out at all. This is something that is controllable as solving word hunger or world peace.

There will always be violence, it will always find it's way in to your "Perfect" society, no one is safe from it.

I don't see the problem with banning guns, or with not owning a gun, as far as I can tell (not on this particular content) people are making way to big of a deal over nothing.

What if I told you that the branch that passes the law is Congress. Interestingly enough, within the House of Representatives, the Repiblicans have a majority (they have 33 more), and to pass the Senate the law needs 60 votes to prevent filibusters (that is, members wasting time on passing the law by speaking), but the Democrats only have 53 representatives. THE LAW STILL PASSED.. The law had a large enough combination of Republicans and Democrats in the House to pass, as well as either a large enough combination of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans to pass, or at least Republicans chose not to filibuster. Obama may have supported it, but it requires Republicans to pass it.

TL;DR? Congress passes laws, not Obama, and Republicans had to support it too.

But wait, Obama still has to sign or veto the bill. If the bill is vetoed it then must go back and get 2/3rds of both House and Senate to become law.

I'm pro gun. But **** it. I'm not going to start an argument again about it. It never goes no where. You can not change someone else's opinion on something.

I have never seen or heard an argument to not increase gun regulations that didn't depend on purely hypothetical reasoning (What if X happened and followed the script I am currently in control of where a gun would save the day.), Outright lies (Places that have banned guns are under SIEGE from knife crime, you can't even visit your nan in the UK without being stabbed at least twice.), or fabricated and contrived statistics.

I am however willing and eager to see if anyone can avoid these and present a reasonable argument as to why added gun control is such a bad thing?

Points that will not be accepted for pure stupidity:
If America gets a tyrannical government then we need to take it down. AKA the 'played too much call of duty.'
Criminals don't get their guns legally. AKA the 'I don't understand how cause and effect works.'
SECOND AMENDMENT!!1! AKA the 'Old texts are smarter than me.'

Guns do not do anything bad, unless given to the wrong people. The government is ''fixing'' the wrong thing. If we had more strict psychological tests we have to complete in order to get guns, (almost) nothing will happen. While taking away all guns might fix the problem, it would cause more **** then it is worth. If a person completes strict psychological tests to show he will not go on a killing spree, and registers his weapon, i see no reason why he shouldn't have a ''Big Scary Auto-Gun''. Since when has a registered, all standard's passing gun been used in a killing spree, instead of self-defence against an armed robbery, Mugging or other life threathening situations.
Also, some guns that are banned are less dangerous/good then some non-banned weapons. The banned one just looks more like an M4, while the un-banned is more of a Mosin Nagant rifle type, but they both are semi-auto, you can put optics on them, they both can have up to a total of 100 rounds in one magazine. The ban is put on the M4-resembling one because of its visuals, while both the banned and non-banned guns operate the same.
