Although it is their fault, I feel bad for mothers like this sometimes.

1. how is it the mother's fault?
and
2. what exactly are they doing wrong?
User avatar #3 to #2 - chopyourhandoff (01/18/2013) [-]
It is the mother's responsibility to watch over her kids and make sure they are going in the right path. And being goth/emo/ ****** up isn't the right path. Especially for a kid at that age, its not acceptable.

it seems to me that they're just expressing themselves via their outward appearance. as long as they're not doing drugs or engaging in other reckless behavior, what's wrong with that?
User avatar #5 to #4 - chopyourhandoff (01/18/2013) [-]
If she keeps ignoring them like that and not guiding them properly, they will be
User avatar #6 to #5 - coolcalx (01/18/2013) [-]
it's possible she's a supportive parent, and is allowing them to dress and style themselves however they want. it's not improbable for someone to be dressed like that and NOT do drugs or other reckless behavior. outward appearance does not imply one's behavior

well, your FJ account isn't that big of a deal, but I can understand how it adds to everything else.

don't feel too stressed about your mom, because you at least have a year before she can legally kick you out. I can't give you any advice for getting a job, because I haven't had much luck either.

I'm a musician, so I know what you mean. if that's your passion, go for it man! I don't have much knowledge of your personal life, but I'm sure there's a way for you to make it.

wrestling I'm assuming? how are your ACT/SAT scores? all of my financial aid is coming from academic scholarships. if you can, hunker down and get some studying going. my 31 ACT score gives me full tuition at my university.
ALSO, consider going to a community college to take care of your GERs. it's a lot cheaper and more efficient to do that.

I have nothing to say about the girlfriend issue. that's .. well that's absolutely awful. nothing I could say or do could make that better. I'm sorry, man.

have a hug.

to be honest, I wouldn't worry to much about your GPA. mine was pretty ****** , but my ACT made up for it.

definitely do a lot of studying. (and by studying, I mean get a book with previous ACT tests, and just take them. that's what I did.)

try to focus on whatever you scored the poorest on, so you can raise your average. find some shortcuts to help you finish quicker: the ACT is all about time management.

I suppose you don't have any friends you could live with?

also, I know what you mean. I write music, and post it online, but I don't sell it. I don't like charging people for stuff that I do for fun. it just seems wrong to me.

no problem. you sounded like you needed to vent.
