Why the **** does pichachu still refuse to go in a Pokeball?

I'd be like: 'Ash, **** your **** . I'm staying inside'

it's probably more like a prison cell i guess in reality
User avatar #4 to #3 - meelo (01/17/2013) [-]
Still, you are already caught, nothing you can do about that. But if you have to choice to be inside a pretty luxerous ball, or outside fighting untill you faint.

there was an actual episode that showed you what the inside of a pokeball looked like.

The anime is not canon. If you're gonna go by anything, go by the manga. In the manga, the ball shrinks them down to be tiny, and they can see out of the tops of the pokeballs...
User avatar #45 to #23 - ThatsSoFunnyHeHe (01/18/2013) [-]
The manga isn't canon either.
User avatar #94 to #45 - theavatarspupil (01/18/2013) [-]
it's based of off the game only, where the show is based off of both the manga and the game. the manga is more canon than the show
User avatar #75 to #45 - infamoustrapper (01/18/2013) [-]
but...then what is canon??
User avatar #127 to #75 - ThatsSoFunnyHeHe (01/19/2013) [-]
The game
User avatar #128 to #127 - infamoustrapper (01/19/2013) [-]
so the game was made before the manga? i just assumed it was like yugioh or whatever where the game was made after the manga.....wait the game was made after the manga right?
User avatar #130 to #128 - ThatsSoFunnyHeHe (01/19/2013) [-]
I don't know about YuGiOh, but the game definitely came before the manga in pokemon.
User avatar #131 to #130 - infamoustrapper (01/19/2013) [-]
oh wow...its amazing what they did with such a simple game then...well i mean its not simple but...the characters obviously didnt have the amount of quality as they do in the manga/show

Thought a Pokeball turned the Pokemon into data?
How else would you transfer one to a Pc?
So what I am saying Isnt a Pokeball just a USB stick for Pokemon
User avatar #16 to #14 - snipys (01/17/2013) [-]
You just made me realize.. What if the pokeballs are like miniature composers? *The weapon from Halo 4, if you don't understand then google it* It looks like pokemon scientists are smarter than the forerunners.
#29 to #14 - Newtothis (01/18/2013) [-]
So Pokemon... are Digimon. (Or vice versa)
#8 - datgermanguy ONLINE (01/17/2013) [-]
Perhaps the Pokemon get stored in the form of data.
Like when the pokeball gets teleported away via the computer system.
That way, the pokemon would be non-existent while in the ball, doesn't get tired and doesn't have to eat.

so when you throw a pokeball that means that you really just trying to sell that pokemon a home. and each time the break out it's because they don't like/need it. but as they lose health and become paralyzed, sleepy, frozen, etc., the need for a home grows that it's harder and harder to resist the temptation. obviously more expensive balls are better homes and thus easier to catch pokemon in. weak pokemon are easy to sell to because they like the protection but stronger one's need more convincing, and the more you throw are just different pitches and more pressure to live in the home. according to this picuture's depiction of the inside of a pokeball of course

They should have done masterball too. Make it look like a dark prison cell with the pokemon chained down
User avatar #111 to #62 - usernamesaredumb (01/18/2013) [-]
They did masterball. It depicts a house with a yard and a car, implying there's even more that you can't see.
User avatar #64 to #62 - blueboysixnine ONLINE (01/18/2013) [-]
Derped hard here. didnt see there was a masterball already. but they should have done it how i said it still
#83 - lordofanon (01/18/2013) [-]
Then ******** pokeball must loke like sing song jail
User avatar #10 - xiranor ONLINE (01/17/2013) [-]
That would explain why the higher tier balls have a higher catch rate than the lower ones, the pokemon goes inside checks it out then either finds it cool and stays in or he gets the **** out because he finds it too ****** for him. That would also explain why the master ball is 100% catch rate, that thing isn't just a room it's a whole ******* house with a yard.
