On fast cars, booze, and babes.

Sounds like a fair trade to me.

the million dollars come from taxes, congratulations you just spent even more money.

Interesting. Care to elucidate?

Not calling you out like "PROVE IT, FAGGOT" or anything. Genuinely curious.

When you are married you get tax cuts, you get charged for taxes as a couple not individual. Some states if you live together for more than 10 years you get these benefits. I'm not sure besides insurance and loan payments where you get these cuts but you should look up more or read this article.

Also, splitting rent, cheaper insurance etc.

His point being that having a girlfriend/wife feels more expensive than not having one.
#19 to #17 - henkstr (01/17/2013) [-]
my point being that having a wife and having a girlfriend are not the same thing, especially financially.

What does marrying save you on? I need to know!
I'm not American though...

I assume it means house bills, but I swear children in the USA are meant to cost like 250k each to raise now...
User avatar #24 to #21 - mathmatical (01/18/2013) [-]
You get tax cuts as a couple. Partially because of the old rule where women had to raise the kids, so there was only one source of income coming in. I know you get tax cuts on other bill too but not 100% sure which exactly.
User avatar #26 to #24 - defeats (01/18/2013) [-]
Ah ha, not being a tax payer yet I hadn't even considered taxes...

I've always wondered in what kind of dsigrace to a wolrd we live in where you have to pay to live properly. And to pay you are forced to work at least half of your life and are not allowed to enjoy it.
User avatar #15 to #11 - micota (01/17/2013) [-]
Yeah...totally worse than when people had to work everyday of their life sun up to sundown...and the harvest still could fail...and than you died...

And I'm sad that I can't fly. Too ******* bad.

Awesome because i was born gay i live in a society that is going to punish me fiscally because of an outdated false book that also condones rape and slavery, ******* awesome!

I think it applies to people who live alone as opposed to people who are in a long term relationship/partnership/marriage, because of the money saved by both people paying for bills and groceries and all that, so you should be good (as long as you find someone to settle down with, which is likely)
But I agree, Christianity has had too big a say in what's legal and not in the forming of society, but I remain optimistic that the world will come to it's senses and let LGBTQ+ people marry.

That's probably only for females

What this add fails to mention is that you will spend more, cause you will have more time and will be able to earn more.

It's not an ad it's a story on Yahoo!. Look it up, I'm sure it's still on there.
