Atheists Worship him who made
the heavens, the earth, the sea and
the springs of water
In reply to lauren slower.
1 Timothy 2: 12
I do not permit a woman to teach
or to assume authority over a man;
she must be quiet.

I thought Pastafarianism was a satirical thing created BY Atheists to illustrate the point of how insane the stories in the bible actually are, and how it should NOT be a mandatory part of U.S. learning itineraries, or taught as an alternative to the theory of evolution/creationism.
(I know you didn't ask for all the words, Just saying though.)

But me saying Flying Spaghetti Monster is associated with Atheists, it defeats the purpose of making a point.

Ahh I missed that part of the joke. Carry on my good man. Here, have a thumb for your troubles, don't spend it all in one place now.

What about him?

Finally, someone understands. If you associate it with atheism, it destroys the point. It needs to be recognized as a true religion to show the ridiculousness of religions, and it won't be recognized when it is associated with atheism. Also, I want to wear a strainer in my license photo.

Sometimes it feels like Atheists know more about the Bible than Christians do.

that would be because we like to know what we are trying to change someone's view point, it helps too know what they know.

Believing in some higher power isn't bad. But it's irrelevant to day to day life. Whether or not *points to everything* was planned, really doesn't make a difference. But when people try to take these made up ****** religion ********* or give their god a face and opinions, that's ******** .

Take this into consideration: it's a fact that there are a larger number of (galaxies, stars, solar systems, planets- please pick one) than any one person that isn't an extreme idiot savant could even comprehend. The odds of us being the only planet with life is so decimal it's almost absolute zero.

And some people think this god cares about what gender I stick my dick into? Think it cares if you kneel and ask things from it every night? Think it gives a **** if you go into a man made building where we're told fictional man made stories of things that didn't and couldn't happen in it's name? That this ************ is gonna help sportsmen win their championship or actors get awards?

That's some selfish, stupid ******** , and so immensely egotistical that I can't even finish this analogy.

I went on a much longer rant yesterday about the same thing. You could read it if you'd like but it's quite long.

I find it funny that the "in-your-face" atheists know more about the bible than most christians do
User avatar #35 to #31 - thepyras (01/15/2013) [-]
The "in-your-face" atheists know whatever the magical people on the internet told them. Mature atheists who actually know anything about other religions (or don't, it doesn't really matter) are not "in-your-face" atheists.
User avatar #43 to #35 - xtrmbragnrytz (01/15/2013) [-]
Exactly, i just thought saying internet atheists would upset a few 12 year olds...

Ah, you're very right. It seems every time I use that term I get thumbed down.

They know contradictions and embarrassing verses that they googled. Ask an atheist about Emmaus or Songs of Songs and they'll know jack **** .

Fair enough, but still. they quote it more often, be it for trolling or not, they still know more. i'm an atheist, i just don't give a **** about religious opinions

MFW Flying Spaghetti Monster

I still don't know if Pastafarians are serious about it, or if it's a huge joke that no one else thinks is funny, or if it's supposed to be a satire of religion.
User avatar #46 to #37 - thebritishguy (01/19/2013) [-]
of course it is a joke Moss

the bible doesn't only states the laws of christianity, but the laws of the time. It isn't condoning these laws, only stating them to give an understanding of the time.

I thought it was specific enough that this was in the church, and Twitter is no church.
