UK.
Can't be shipped out until active duty until you are 18 though.
Besides which, the training in the British Army is long and thorough that even if you join up at 16 you would be near enough 18 before you became a fully trained soldier anyway.

No, you can NOT join the military at 16, you can join the military at 17 WITH parental consent. In the United States of America.

murica as long as your parents sign saying you can join earlier than 18. You can do boot camp just after you turn 16, and potentially be in combat before you graduate high school.
