I have an iPhone, I have a Mac. I got the Mac as a gift, and I appreciate it very, very much. True, there are some things that a Windows can do better than my Mac, and true, software costs me more than it would if I had a PC. For what I use it for: internet browsing; research; writing; recording, editing and listening to music; and editing video, it suits me very well. It runs fine and I like a lot of the programs it comes with and the programs you can get for it, it's a more artist-based machine.
The iPhone I bought for myself. I'd had one previously (also a gift) and enjoyed it. I did a lot of research into phones and what I wanted, and I like the iPhone best. No, I can't make it do everything, but I don't need to. It's very compatible with my computer. It was the same price as other phones, and with a store's sale, even cheaper. I've never had a problem with it. I threw a case on it right when I bought it and it doesn't break when I drop it.
I recognize my limitations, I don't act smug about my phone/computer, because I shouldn't. I don't really get why apple users get so much hate, though. (I do, however, think apple's kind of a dickish company now, and don't like them as much as I used to)

Kids that aren't artists of any kind and just use it to search web...
$4000 mac.
$500 anything else.
My kids are being brainwashed to making me buy an expensive paper weight. That's why there is so much hate.
Thumb me down if you've been brainwashed too

Ask and you shall receive.

Because buying something you like is automatically being brainwashed.

Buying something overpriced you clearly don't need (where also a way cheaper and more functional alternative exists), yes I'd say you're brainwashed if you do that

So you want to say, when I'm rich enough, I can't buy Lamborghini which I really want, because there are way cheaper cars, which will do same thing for me?
User avatar #188 to #183 - kookiefrankus (01/14/2013) [-]
I really would not give a **** what you buy if your rich as **** . Hell, my opinion or anyone elses wouldn't make a difference. My fight with Apple is with if you don't have an iProduct in highschool your apparently uncool or poor. Or so says my kids tell me.

But that's not Apple's fault, that's fault of their fanboys. Which are common everywhere (Android fanboys are same ********* and I know that because I own high-end Android device), just the Apple fanboys are usually most loud.

I own a Windows phone but I don't tell people unless they ask. Only reason I prefer them is because I've found no problems other than ringtones (there is a work around). Also all on my devices are windows so why the frig not aye lol

I never said you CAN'T buy something, sure you can buy it, go ahead if you have the cash. But do you need it? If you need a powerful car, a BMW M5 will do the trick, and it's way cheaper than a Lambourghini. Though if you're that rich that you can buy a Lambourghini you probably wouldn't give a **** how you spend your money. However 99% of people aren't that rich, and we are talking from the perspective of a middle class person with average income.

It's not your money they're spending.
Also, functionality isn't everything. Would you buy really ******* ugly car, but it could do anything you need, or would you buy much nicer looking car without few extra functions?

So a Toyota Yaris? Ugly as **** but functional lol

I think it doesn't look that bad

I think it's just the 2 door variation of the car I don't like, hate rice bubble cars. They crash and all you hear is snap, crackle and pop.
