"Did you know the 'Extinction' of Dinosaurs was actually caused by Feminist? I mean why else would they take out giant lizards and birds of prey! Because they knew that if Men knew how to tame such creatures they would overthrow there entire secret organization and therefor must eliminate them. All of them. Every. Single. One."

It was the only rhino related pic I had. I read Rinosaurus as Rhinoceros.

The reason this costume is awesome is because you can see the jeans and the shoes, but you completely ignore them, because it's so ******* awesome!

>Show a picture of one kind of Dinosaur's arms bending
>Say that's "Not how dinosaurs arms bend" and that "They would need to break in around 4 different places"
>Show a picture of a completely different dinosaur to emphasize

No

All therapods (bipedal, mostly carnivorous, saurischian dinosaurs) have the same basic arm structure. These are both therapods. So it works.
User avatar #94 to #93 - rbpwn (01/13/2013) [-]
It's still a bad example

You could technically use an Orangutan arm structure to show how human's arms work, but you don't for the sake of clarity
User avatar #20 to #13 - tomtomat (01/13/2013) [-]
It's not as easy as you might think. I wanted to show a picture where it clearly shows. Besides, such pictures are still in the mast minority. Still gets the point across, doesn't it? ^^

Well, since the Carnotaurus species lived for several million years, it seems their swag was pretty strong!

As a once obsessed child, I knew all of this **** . Give me moar that I might not know.
User avatar #351 to #342 - tomtomat (01/13/2013) [-]
We'll see how far we'll go with this. It can't be stuff that holds no interest to people who normaly know little about dinosaurs. Besides, I doubt I know more than you if you already knew about the theropod hands.
User avatar #354 to #351 - lordofthenash (01/13/2013) [-]
That I did. I was obsessed with dinosaurs. So much so that I hated "Land Before Time" because they called the Apatasaurs "Long Necks". Rustled my 6 year old Jimmies.
User avatar #357 to #354 - tomtomat (01/13/2013) [-]
Well, they had long necks, at least. Technically it isn't wrong. :P
User avatar #370 to #357 - lordofthenash (01/13/2013) [-]
Not the latin, therefore it pissed me off. Haha

these claws are realy fuking big aren't they? they must be those of a carnivore right? if you thought that you would be mistaken. these are the claws of a therizinosaurus. these herbivores most likely used there claws as a form of defence.

i'm sorry i just love dinosaurs

I read a theory that they could have been used to rip open termite mounds like an ant eater. Imo dosen't hold water, but its cool none the less. One reason I like paleontology, all the speculation:-D
User avatar #174 to #122 - mysticpichu (01/13/2013) [-]
that's a good theory. i totaly agree
