Yeah, but mine wasn't correct either, because it wasn't a quirky movie. And I commented when there was only the Star Wars comment. It hadn't become anything at that point.

Johnny Depp was born in Owensboro Kentucky which is where I lived for 5 years.

He came back maybe once to visit his Grandmother(while I was living there) for a small family reunion or something, and he bought out Applebees for the night so no one would bother them.

I would LOVE it if Tim Burton remade of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. With Helena Bonham Carter as Magenta, and Johnny Depp as Frank-'n-Furter. My life would be complete then. I'm still deciding who I'd like to play Riff Raff, Columbia, Brad, Janet and Rocky. Music by Danny Elfman? Verne Troyer as Riff Raff would be a twist.

well taking that he directs the whole ******* movie i think he has some idea of what it might be like........-____-
User avatar #46 to #44 - sphinxe (01/12/2013) [-]
Naturally. But what I mean is after he does that neither of them watch their films ever again, not at the release or anything like that. Helena was on a chat show and they showed a scene from Great Expectations and she refused to look at it.

It seems to be a rather common thing. A lot of film and TV stars have said that watching themselves makes them uncomfortable because they can watch all the flaws they made. Nick Offerman has said the same thing about his performances.
#81 to #67 - cigma (01/12/2013) [-]
If they don't see their flaws, then how do they plan to improve?
User avatar #151 to #81 - rieskimo (01/12/2013) [-]
That may be true, but what you're calling flaws and what the artist are calling flaws are two entirely different things. The artist is talking about nuances that would be invisble to anybody who doesn't occupy the same headspace as the artist. Though I do agree with you I also understand what it means to try and let go of something that others deem "finished".

Robots exterminate all life in the world, then run out of things to kill, so they all kinda break down, and then it turns out some scientist managed to bring the little doll things to life in order to preserve life and it gets kinda deeper and... yeah, i liked it. Every enemy was cleverly designed, some of the dolls were pretty badass. Not the best movie ever, but worth a watch at some point in my opinion
