Just a pool, disguised as a pond, with a trampoline instead of a
drying board
Holy **** ! I wrote a paper about these kinds of pools several years
ago tor a class when they prototypes. These pools have a
natural filtration system that run based on the plants that are in the
pool that give the water nutrients that allow it to not only be crystal
clear, but you are also able to drink the water because it becomes so
clean. and the best part is that once the initial filtration system is
installed and calibrated, it maintains itself and eliminates the need tor
chlorine or constant maintenance like salt water pools.

What if you just want to use the trampoline? I bet you'd fall into the pool multiple times

Yes, because you fall off your trampoline frequently when it's located next to water

Yes because plants give nutrients that make the water clean.

As an Environmental science and bio major (junior in college) I would not recommend that kind of filtration on the grounds that something will move in their eventually, like snakes or something infected with parasites **** in the pool and you drink the water you can get infected that way while chlorine is harsh enough to kill it.
P.S. Parasite eggs (e.g. Chinese liver fluke) don't really interact with plants but the eggs can survive your stomach acids and make into your colon so you need some strong base like chlorine to effectively kill it. Attached is an image of the many parasites to grow on your liver that probably live in a nearby stream or in some slug (juvenile stage) or cow (mature).

Until someone pees in it.

Then you get an outbreak of blue-green algae and have to drain the system, kill all the plants, and start from scratch.

Or it becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes and other annoying insects.

So what happens if i dump one tonne of leaves into the pool?
User avatar #51 to #49 - ludislavonac (01/12/2013) [-]
Nothing really, you'll have to fish them out if you don't like swimming through leaves

I don't know if a wet trampoline would be particularly safe, but that looks amazing.

But with the trampoline being on the ground wouldn't it not give any bounce? (Unless the underside was hollow)

I suppose there is water under the trampoline.
