That's my problem. My clock is on a dresser across the room. I just get up, go over to it, hit the snooze, and crawl back into bed.

I keep my phone in a box with a hole for the speaker, on top of my furniture. So I have to get out of bed, stretch to grab the box, open it and turn off the alarm.

The sad thing is this is the only way I can wake up without getting back to sleep

Then you don't try hard enough

what if you customize it with your personal weight, and unless all of it is on the alarm clock, it wont turn off?

If you were to take a set of digital scales, hook it up to a speaker and put in some coding it'd be practical. Too bad I dont know how to do any coding, or how to hook it up to a speaker, or even afford a set of digital scales.

Problematic if you take a fat **** before you kip and you wake up a few pounds lighter. The ringing would follow you to your grave.

I thought it was an alarm clock and a scale. Y'know, so, you can wake up with your dignity already in the ******* .

I'm in university so I leave it purely down to fate. If I wake up in time then I will go to my lectures, if not then its a day off.

That wouldn't work. You need to put your full weight on it.

My alarm is a screaming woman yelling for help and asking not to be killed, wakes me up every time.

When ever I set an alarm as a routine, like for school or work I always wake up minutes before the alarm for some reason.

The thing should register your weight so that you can't just reach down and turn it off with your hand.

I cannot hear alarm clocks in the morning. It can be at least a couple of hours before I hear it and then turn it off, but before that happens, someone in my family will come in and turn it off and then I won't wake up. Does anyone know of a solution?
User avatar #35 to #30 - Snookbone (01/12/2013) [-]
Put a vibrating alarm on your phone on max setting and put it under your pillow. It's what I did when I had to get up earlier than my roommate and not disturb him. Hope it works.
User avatar #37 to #35 - herefortheporno (01/12/2013) [-]
I think I'll try that.

My alarmclock is hard to turn off. It's a normal clock, but I always spend like a minute just to turn it off. When I finally get to stop it, I'm not sleepy anymore. Annoying as **** , but it works.
User avatar #28 - Mozzak (01/12/2013) [-]
Or put your alarm clock away from the bed,in the other corner of the room?
User avatar #23 - mooghens (01/12/2013) [-]
I actually made an alarm clock in electronics class about a year ago, you'd have a range finder positioned at the top of the pillow, and the deactivator switch in another room. When it was time to wake up, it would trigger a high pitched siren from the spawns of hell to wake you up, and would continue to do so as long as you would lie in the bed. You needed to reach the deactivator in the other room to stop the range finder. Inspired by my lazy classmate who was always late :P
