I expect your tray tables to be stowed and your seats to be in their upright, locked position...

Could you elaborate? I didn't understand.
I know I am going to hate myself, since I am the only one asking, and it will be obvious.

What anonymous said...

A Patronus is a guardian.. (Patronum is just a different nominative)
And Expecto speaks for itself

expecto = expecting obviously
patronum = could mean something as a guardian or protector as well

Good friend of mine is 24 now. When we visited London last year he wanted to buy some ps3 game that had a 16+ seal. Cashier actually thought he was younger than 16 and asked his ID. MFW

I'm ******* 20, I went to buy Resident evil 6 in Tesco's, as it was the only shop i could find the game not sold out... ******* arab bitch at the cashier didn't want to sell me the game becasue she thought I was 15, only proof of age i had was my SIA license (I was coming home off work), I had to call security for him to confirm her that only 18+ can get that license.

Not really relevant what game he bought either? If she is arab, she is arab.

but you went out of your way to mention that she was Arab, in fact you must have identified her as an Arab and then remembered her by her race

And what's wrong with being Arab? You're making it sound bad.

but why identify her by her race, when I am annoyed at someone I don't say "ah that stupid white person" I don't know why he went out of his way to mention her race if there was no intention to judge her by her race

I wasn't online when you replied. So what If i said she was arab? Am I being racist? I did say the name of the game as well... it wasn't needed since I could just say "a game for 18+" am i an idiot for pointing out the game's name as well? Even after she got the proof she still refused to sell me the game, the manager which was also an arab was the one that sold me it. The guard that helped me out was black, I'm a quadroon, the bus driver that day I don't remember but I think he was black as well, my neighbour above is indian, my neighbour on the right is english my male cat is black and white and the female is grey and white. Problem???

Now seriously, what was the point of almost causing WW3 over nothing?

You can't actually change the past with a time-turner. It's pretty hard to explain really, but it's a bit like fixed points really. If you see someone die, you can't save them, because you saw it. Of course, it's not exactly like that, because even if someone dies and you have no idea, they will be dead no matter what... Urgh, it's wibbly wobbly, I know.

Well... Kind of. They never actually saw Buckbeak being killed, they just assumeed they killed her. Why they would then go back in time, I don't really understand, but I guess Hermione knew or some ****. Anyway, I can't remember what it says in the book, but in the movie they just chup a huge pumpkin in half instead of Buckbeak. Example to the whole time-space continuum thing (lol I have no idea what I just wrote) is that Harry Potter saved himself with the Patronum spell by the lake with all the Dementors.

How Deathly Hallows should have ended kind of answered this question. If she were to go that far back she would be giving up her life. Time Turners are one way. She would go back 12 years, at the point she had the time turner, and then have to live those 12 years to get back to normal time. Also, Voldemort was already very powerful and she had no idea about his horcruxes at this point so nothing would have changed. To fix this she would have to go back to when he was a baby and would never see any of her friends or family for 50 or so years. It just isn't practical.

if she did that she would never have met harry thus making an alternate timeline where she might receive the time turner but perhaps may not feel inclined to use it... then of course the original timeline would occur and everything would go all *****

And each turn goes back an hour or so, Hermione would be standing there until Harry actually killed Voldemort.
