Yeah but buses do. then you hear the tv say words like "jack knife" then your mom starts telling everyone she knows about the snow day so that she can use the term "jack knife" when describing what happens to vehicles in the snow.

I think Drooms is referring to the fact alot of areas have snow regularly. In Northern states there are places where it begins snowing mid-september. Basically if you live in Florida and get half an inch you get a few days off from school, live in Chicago 3 feet won't get you out of school for a day.

Don't forget elevation, people in places like Colorado get massive snow storms.
