I hate that I recognized that for the family guy line that it is "How much blinker I need cross four lanes? Ok I go now! Good luck everybody else!"

Still I chuckled.

Even though technically, they live in Asia too, most people just call them Middle Easterners. I'm not geographically stupid.

APPLES CAN ACTUALLY READ MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they can hear, and see what your visually thinking
this is the absolute complete truth!!!!!

The reason a lot of apples are apples, segregate them from other apples -only associate with apples and don’t apple with non apples that much, are very crunchy, and are very tasty in general is to avoid accidentally revealing that they can read apples by accidentally giving apples when someone apples, or visually apples something in mind they don’t apple, find astonishing, or funny etc because those apples might see that and really wonder what that was that just happened there and see the apple, and apples might accidentally say something similar to oh my god I still have half of this to go what the apple was just thinking and going to apples. If they all associated with non apples when is this gonna stop a lot more then there would be a lot more apples… **** it

PLEASE SPREAD THE MESSAGE!!!!!!!
THE WORLD HAS TO KNOW THIS!!!!!

Funnily enough, Pearl Harbor was an accident, a miscommunication. The Japanese pilots, due to government procrastination and poor radio technology, could not be told to return when the attack was called off, as they had already taken off.

So they spent millions on fuel food and all that war material only to cancel it in the last hour?
User avatar #105 to #51 - trostell ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
The problem was that the US had not recieved Japan's declaration of war, and the Japanese are big on honor.
User avatar #106 to #105 - felixjarl ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
They did not send it because only a fool would do so. They wanted war.
User avatar #107 to #106 - trostell ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
They did not want full-out war. They actually wanted America to back out of their support of other nations during the war. But the one thing America does is war.
User avatar #108 to #107 - felixjarl ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
how can attacking their main naval fleet not be a deceleration of war? They saw it as a reasonable way to remove the American influence on that part of the world.
User avatar #109 to #108 - trostell ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
The Japanese are not the most sane people. America is not the reason Japan has a lot of ****** up ideas.

So they sacreficed millions of their own people because they were a little short of brain power?
User avatar #111 to #110 - trostell ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
Again, they were trying to keep America out of the war entirely. Groups like the AVG were seriously impeding Japan's advances into mainland Asia, and our oil embargo really screwed them over, so they wanted America to just sort of forget there's a war. You think someone who tries to do that is any sort of sane?
User avatar #112 to #111 - felixjarl ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
They genuinely though they had a fair chance. The Japanese army had by then defeated all European forces during the war with almost no resistance. They had a general belief that the European was unable to face their forces and win.

And besides, to attack is a deceleration of war. You cannot expect a country with that power to just ''forget'' the war. They knew that they were going to attack sooner or later and they were preparing for it.
User avatar #113 to #112 - trostell ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
Japan had already experienced the ability of American forces during their repeated attacks on the Burma Road, wherein they lost at least 200 aircraft against the American Volunteer Group, the famous Flying Tigers.
User avatar #114 to #113 - felixjarl ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
I can accept that one as true history Points for that statement. But i am still resisting your former argument.
User avatar #115 to #114 - trostell ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
Then we can agree to disagree. I've never seen any evidence the Japanese willingly wanted to attack America intending to wage war upon it. They knew full well the only way to stop America once they entered the war would be to completely conquer America. As the admiral of the Japanese fleet said "We can not invade America, there will be a rifle behind every blade of grass".
User avatar #116 to #115 - felixjarl ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
That particular admiral did enter the history books most famous for that quote. Sadly he was downturned.

but one interesting thing. They knew full well the only way to stop America once they entered the war would be to completely conquer America

So you are technically saying that they understood the war and was prepared for it?
User avatar #117 to #116 - trostell ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
The only way they could win would be to annihilate the entire US naval fleet, but due to their...twisted logic (see kamikaze tactics for another example), they wished to declare war on the US government before launching their attack.
User avatar #118 to #117 - felixjarl ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
I on the other hand declare them perfectly sane. Kamikaze was a honorable tradition by that time and just because it seems stupid to our eyes it was actually a very important part for Japanese morale.

What they wanted was to destroy the US fleet with as few losses as possible, they did it. Image the losses they would have suffered with a deceleration at first.
User avatar #119 to #118 - trostell ONLINE (01/07/2013) [-]
Kamikaze was not an honorable tradition. It was political spin on the ancient practice of seppuku, which was a warrior who had been disgraced could only restore honor to his family by disemboweling himself on his sword. "Kamikaze" tactics were government desperation and PR. The name itself means "Divine Wind" a name given to a typhoon that forced marauding Chinese ships from landing in Japan.

All basic knowledge. but it does not deny or strengthen my statements.

still, this is leading nowhere. Shall we call it a draw?
