Lets analyze this:
Flying cars: They can probably make these but not close to as easily as regular cars and would be a lot more expensive
Hoverboard: Within next 10 years i bet we will be able to make these but again, very expensive, like jetpacks
Lightsaber: Can we make a laser sword? probably but to make the laser end at a certain length like in star wars is complicated. This isn't a priority in technology as guns are much more effective but we do most likely have the technology to make a lightsaber more or less
Aliens: There is no way to estimate when we will, if ever, encounter aliens. We have found water on other planets in our solar system but no proof of organic life, if bacteria even counts as an alien. There are probably aliens somewhere in the universe but theres no way to determine how close or even if we will ever meet them.
Portals: Unless you count black holes, there are no signs toward us creating portals anytime soon. I don't see us harnessing black holes, and I dont see us developing this technology any time soon
Time Travel: Sorry Marty Mcfly, but I highly, highly doubt we will ever have time travel. There are too many reasons for me to list why we would not be able to speed up, slow down, or reverse the flow of time, such as how the **** we would even connect with the flow of time using a machine. I'm just leaving this one at no.
Light Speed: This goes with portals. Unless we break down particles into light, we will never go close to light speed.
Cyborgs: Depends what you mean. People have already been using robotic limbs and such, but if you mean a baby thats born from a robot and a person, I dont think that will ever be possible.
Blasters: These actually would be extremely useful and Are being developed. By blasters, im referring to guns that shoot lasers and dont use ammo. These will save billions in ammo and probably will be available within 7-8 years

TL;DR: As cool as these are, they are not a priority in modern technology

There is such things as 'blasters' far from being an easily carried weapon by hand, but there is technology that you could easily relate to blasters.

Also there has been experiments with 'portals' with rats, they've gotten one single rat to teleport to another cage, only to see that it was totally frozen. I insist that you go look it up, its an interesting read.

dont see why there is all these theories about black holes and time travel and portals and such, a black hole isnt a hole... its a collapsed star, its just an orb with enough gravity to pull in all light without letting it out (quasars excluded)

Dude but hoverboarding? That would be rad as hell. Imagine just poppin in some chill music into your ipod and just floating through some streets and cruising. It would prob be like a snowboard u just chill and flow, maybe do some slides and butters or something

Wont lie, I would rather take the sum of money it would take to buy a pointer so powerful that you could visibly see it on the moons surface from earths, and invest it into actually breaking the speed of light in a manned craft...

With a 100+ watt laser beam, striking the reflectors that were left on the moon's surface, and using a telescope, the return can be detected and even measured.

Oh you poor ******* kid. You're going to live longer than most of the rest of world and your generation has mastered technology in a way 99.99% of humans never dreamed about, but woe is you, because scientists didn't work hard enough to break the conventional laws of physics and/or push the boundaries of our technological mastery. How about instead of bitching, you find some scientific articles about super awesome cool **** we have, share those here, then go to school and try to contribute to the invention of the things you just mentioned? Sound good? Good.
