I always found it funny how Christian Bale played Bateman in this movie and then later on Batman.

*SPOILER ALERT* (maybe)

Didn't it turn out that he didn't really kill anyone and it was just stuff he imagined as he drew it in his work diary? In that case, no mathematical thought would have gone into aiming the chainsaw. He just dreamed that he managed to get her with it and timed it just right. Correct me if I'm wrong.

it is a little awkward though to put down your chainsaw and whip out a notebook in the middle of trying to kill the hooker.

Hey those of you out there in the real world, I normally care about math class because I can usually find some use for it in my life, or can at least understand how what we are learning could be used, but when we got to the chapter on sine, cosine, and tangent inverses, I lost it. My teacher told me the major uses for it are, and quote, "if you're on a boat and you don't have a compass so you need to tell your direction using the stars. Or if you're captain of a submarine and you need to calculate the angle that you need to rise in order to avoid hitting rocks on the ocean for" These uses are so ******** .

Funnyjunk, have any of you ever used the inverse of these trig functions for a practical use in your life? Because I am going to fail this quarter if I can't find one.
