tresea was fooling you into thinking logan was going to destroy albion then she has you exucute him but then you find out he was going to save albion from some strange monster **** thing from aurora. then now that he's dead you have to break all your promises to save everyones life and you have no allies for the final battle. not even walter cause he goes blind
User avatar #47 to #46 - savirleo (01/01/2013) [-]
If you have enough gold, you can save everyone
Also, Teresa never said Logan was evil. Only that Albion will fall if he remains king

I understand what you mean. I miss my Fable II. I will eventually want to play all my other games as well, but sadly, the disk tray broke

So far I have Fable: Lost Chapters and Fable 3. I want them all.
User avatar #5 to #3 - Wimbles (12/31/2012) [-]
I would argue 2 is the best one, though it's incomplete without the dlcs. Most people favor the first but the character customisation in 2 is fantastic if you take the time to experiment with the colours and clothing options.

I have 12 characters for Fable 2, all of them unique. They really butchered the customising in 3 due to people complaining about how muscular female main character got when you upped their strength.
User avatar #6 to #5 - perishing (12/31/2012) [-]
I have only played 3 so far so I have no say in what is better, I just got the Lost Chapters one.
User avatar #7 to #6 - Wimbles (12/31/2012) [-]
Lost Chapters is great but they removed my favorite glitch, plus it's really easy to become a magic death machine in that one.
User avatar #8 to #7 - perishing (12/31/2012) [-]
Gotta love magic death machines.

Yeah, but it's hard to resist the dark clothing if you are playing a good guy, looks so good in the original Fable.
User avatar #10 to #9 - perishing (12/31/2012) [-]
This is gonna be fun. Any tips? Can you inbox me them?

Tips for Fable Lost Chapters? Well, it has been a while but I think I still know too much about it. What type of tips would you like?
User avatar #12 to #11 - perishing (12/31/2012) [-]
Anything that you think might be important.

...that wants you to prove you are evil. If you are(with black smoke around you legs) it will just open, if you are not, eat all fifteen crunchy chicks right infront of it(after talking to it once) , preferabley a bit slowly or he might not acknowledge that you ate them, then talk to him. He'll say "yep, you're evil" then pen up. He has a pretty powerful one handed hammer inside him that is damn good right near the beginning.

Do not do all boasts. try and pick the ones that garner the most money without making a quest to hard. The best one if you are a mage is the boast that says you wont get hurt during the quest. Almost doubles you money from a quest. I say mage as protective shield stops all damage and makes the boast easy.

That'll do you for now.

The first demon door you encounter in the heroes guild is opened by turning on your lantern and walking up to it. Totally worth it for a potion inside(one of many) that permanantly increses your amount of will power. The more of these you can get before increasing your will power through spending experiences points, the larger your will power will be(you can get potions that increase health int he same way.)

Make sure to redo each of the tests during the hero guild training witht he replacement instructers and try to get as high a score as possible as this gets you replacement weapons that are more powerful than the ones you have. This also frees you up to sell the original weapons you are given for a nice little profit.

Try to get a fishing rod as quick as you can(unless the game starts you with one, can't remember) as it's worth fishing just outside of the park that you are sent to just outside the heroes guild. Once you get the hang of fishing(pretty simple) and "catch" what is causing waves and bubbles in the water you'll have a lovely skill potion. You can drink it straight away for 3000 skill experience points or better yet wait until you have tallied up atleast a 10X combo the drink it while the 10 is ont he screen(your combo marks how much experience points you get are multiplied by)

Make sure to get protective shield and force push as quick as you can(if you are going for magic) as protective shielf when levelled up can be a lifesaver and force push can be used when surrounded to knock most enemies back.

When fighting trolls close up, try to roll when you see them about to attack(preferably backwards) as you can usually leave the limits of the close up jump attack and easily roll back in afterwards to continue attacking.

If you are going to be a good guy, try and find a travelling merchant who is selling crunchy chicks, you'll need fifteen. A demon door at the end of a part of game that has a toll(bandits set it up, you can kill them easily)...

I'm holding back a tad, many of my hints are useless without the ability to show exactly where they are.

Also, pay attention to the statue outside and up the hill fromt he heroes guild. while looking at it while your back is to the heroes guild, note which way it is pointing. If left, click on it. If it says that it is pointing at the wood, run to that area. A chest will be in the small ruins to the right as you enter with a precision augmentation in it. You can either keep it to use on a weapon or sell it(you can easily get more and you will really want the money for health and magic potions.

If it is pointing right, click on it. If it says it is pointing at bowerstone(if I remember the name of the town correctly) then quickly runt to the town. If you made it in time, the inns basement door(behind and around the inn) should be unlocked. Some chainmail armour in there I believe.

It's one of my favorite things they hid, the statue constantly turns slowly between the woods and the town.

Also, I'd recommend looking up the truly well hidden key locations. Some of them are in places you'd never guess, such as one in Darkwood Lake. This one requires you shooting an arrow at it, and that's pretty sneaky.

You can also time hits against trolls' rock throws by swinging your weapon at the right time. This can be faster than just hacking away at them at lower levels.

Oh, and always keep at least one Golden Carrot on you. These change night to day. This can help for getting potions or general trading with merchants, being most go to bed.

You can message me also for other superfluous things about the game that you need help with. Between me and Wimbles, you might get a quick response.

I only ever bothered getting about 20 before they released TLC, just wanted the Murren Greathammer.

Then they went and added the Archon armour, had to have that.

play an evil game for more fun. or play a good game for more challenge. also, boast about how you will complete quests, you get more money that way. of course, all that is common knowledge to fable fans. if possible, try to buy every house in the land.

IMO 2 was the best.

There was so much more to Fable 2 than Fable 3.

Fable 3 felt like they wanted to add more to Fable 2, but went about it in the wrong way.

Plus I didn't like how once the game ended you could change whether you're bad or good simply by taking all of your money out of the bank, or putting it back in.

Lost Chapters was the best, from what I've read. I didn't enjoy 3 very much, it seemed too easy. All of them have amazing soundtracks though.
