in iceland, when naming things they grab a bag of scrabble tiles and tip it onto the ground
whatever way the letters land spells out the new name
#98 to #89 - John Cena (12/29/2012) [-]
Well, Actually, the name is made up of three words just put together: "Eyja" Which means Island, "Fjalla" which means Mountain, and "Jökull" Which means Glacier. So it's pretty much the Lonely Mountain from Lord of the Rings.
User avatar #81 - anahbell (12/29/2012) [-]
That's not how you spell Reykjavik
User avatar #118 to #81 - klulli (01/02/2013) [-]
Neither do you spell Hafnafjörður, Kópavogur and Fjarðabyggð like that if you want to go into it.
User avatar #83 to #81 - reican (12/29/2012) [-]
in the US misspelling is correct and correct is wrong.

If you looked at that page in Icelandic you would find no mention of it being a city. Trust me, it's only a town next to Reykjavik, which is the only city in Iceland.

The answer would be Hafnarfjörður, but since that isn't technically a city, it's Reykjavík.
Reykjavík is the only city in Iceland.
User avatar #68 to #61 - xxkittypowaxx (12/29/2012) [-]
