My girlfriend and I broke up, but tried to remain close friends. Didn't work out, blew up in my face. She completely broke my heart, as both a lover and a friend. Mfw I still have dreams about reconciling with her, or just seeing her again. Mfw it's been 6 months.

I feel you man. I have the same issue but me and her have a 10 month old daughter together... i love my little angel more than anything. But going over and seeing her mother happy with someone else, when I work tirelessly and barely have time to see my angel, it kills man...

I dated a girl for 2 years, to find out that she had cheated on me the entire time. She was like my first girlfriend so I couldn't recognize any signs. She told me she was going to a friends house to hang out, and it turns out she made me give her a ride to her second boyfriends. I freaked the **** out, and said the worst things Ive ever said to a human being, and made her cry and she started cutting herself. We have since come to terms with it and we are both kind of neutral. What really sucks, is after going through that, you can see the signs of the friend zone from so far away its not even funny. I guess its not so bad, but sometimes you would just not want to know. I took a girl from my school on a few dates, and we kissed and it was amazing, but over Christmas break I can start to feel my friend zone senses tingling. Since I know the end is coming, I have dreams about her like every night. Feelbadman

Know the feels bro, my first fiance, was friends with me for years...we dated forever, we had a time and date set, and just one day she called me to say it was over done with, that just woke up and didnt love me anymore...that was...4 years ago...she was best friend, and my lover...I still sometimes miss her...not romantically...but as my best friend

Feels, man. Feels. I think the worst part of mine was that after she broke up with me, she was crying and so worried that I wouldn't want to be friends anymore, that she had ruined it all. And then, later, she ended the very thing she couldn't stand to lose. Sigh. Feels.

I know this feel. I wish I could talk to my ex, we were together for almost 3 years and it just ended out of nowhere. I still find myself dreaming about her and think of all sorts of memories and scenarios about us...

I had the same experience, but it's been over a year, now.
