Correct. You know why? Detroit is the only city in the US that has had democrat mayors since 1962. Add that with primarily leftist unions, ******* insane ideas for urbanization and you end up with a city that looks like communist Russia.

Your country also had plans to blow up the Moon so that they wouldn't lose the Space Race against Russia. The Moon also helps to regulate and stabilize earth's rotation on its axis, meaning Earth would go off it's axis.

that's nice, Josh, but he's actually partly right. the US planned to detonate a nuke on the moon that would be visible from Earth in order to boost American morale. they originally wanted to use an H-bomb, but they couldn't afford launching a bomb that big to the moon, so they decided to use a warhead that was only 1.7 kilotons (a relatively small explosion). the plan was cancelled because they realized how stupid that was, and how dangerous it could be.

interestingly enough, the Soviets had planned on doing the same exact thing, but cancelled it for the same reason.

Thats good, but let me address our problems in the US, Our economy is still even at worst is still well, not awful, our unemployment rate, all though seems bad, is not as bad as many other nations. Our education, we have a lot of very good schools, but also many bad schools, which drag the national averages down. I myself am an all honors student in advanced classes for my grade. While i agree your healthcare is likely better, ours is harder to regulate do to our large cultural and economically diverse population, which is why it is hard to have health care regulated for all people. While our country is at its worst right now, the entire world is suffering this economic downturns, but one thing i will give you is that our country is full of Greedy people who live for themselves, because we have developed as a nation with Social Darwinsim where as many nations, such as yours have lived and grown pretty much closer cause you all have simliar culture, where ours have massive minority populations with constant class warfare and racial discrimination, We arent perfect, but I love the oppertunity in America, and have respect for other nations. I dont mean any disrespects. I'm not trying to come off as if to make America seem like the #1 nation in the world, all nations have our strengths and weaknesses, In fact many of the nations successful today, have modelled off the US's successes such as China, many european nations, I cant perfectly attest to all the nations that have done this, but in one way or another, America has influenced the world in many many ways. If you are celebrating the holidays i hope it is a good one. Have a good night.

Oh wow, it's pretty late here, so i cant give you the same kind of detailed reply.

What i mean is that Iceland have a completely different way of handling the banking issue, than the rest of the world. They know that banks being bailed out is not the right way to go, and they have nationalised the banking system.

This is a huge thing, and will certainly benefit their economic system.

I think the issue is that the U.S is way beyond the point of no return, and they would never be able to make radical changes like Iceland for instance.
Small countries like mine (Denmark) are able to try out a lot of things in relation to the education system, criminal system etc. and by that, they can try out things until they find the one that works.

The U.S criminal system for instance, is such a huge money business, that the people in charge will NEVER make changes like legalizing marijuana etc.
