give it a few months and then it will be outdated

outdated? ever here of future proof systems that take around 5 years+ to become outdated

Mate, in there you can fit like 3 top notch pc's, which would mean you can have 3 people playing at the same time, or if its possible wire it all into one computer (not sure if possible though, not too knowledgeable on tech) That **** would last you over 10 years

Where did that even come from? Just because new hardware comes out every few months doesn't mean you need it to play games. What about consoles? They're several years outdated.

Ugh I hate statements with no logical basis.

I love my gaming PC and all, but one thing I prefer on consoles is that they're better for when you have guests. To play with a friend on a PC you need, 2 gaming PC's and two copies of the game. For playing with a friend on a console, plug in another controller.

The life of a PC gamer is a prestigious yet lonely one.

I love doing that! But you know, in 1080p

That's nice for you. Personally, I don't care about resolution. As long as I can see what I'm doing, I'm satisfied

True, but then it's not 'top of the line,' which is where he's basing it off of. Keep in mind the first person said top of the line tech, so it really would be outdated within a few months of time because the 'top of the line' standard would have shifted. Not drastically, mind, but it's a shift.

Granted, it would still run amazingly...

and I thank you for understanding what I was getting at

I guess but I just assumed he was parroting the ol' futile argument about PC's that apparently they're not as good as gaming because they get outdated. Neither of us know what he's basing it off of. He might be basing it off "it would be balls to walls powerful" which it still would be after a few months.

no, I actually prefer PC. I spent about $1000 on a gaming computer, only to find out the other day that the parts I bought a few months ago can now be bought to assemble the computer at $500.

The most annoying part is that to upgrade it to the top of the line (just replace 2 parts of it mainly) will cost me yet another $1000, something I don't have as my brother tempts me into buying heaps of stuff.
