Used to be my favorite holiday, but now I'm just under too much stress for it to be anything but a hassle. Meh, life goes on.

Either way, Happy Holidays and such to everyone who is reading this, hope you all have a great Christmas! (Or other winter holidays)

Yeah heres my reason though, if you dont wanna read opinions fj ignore this
>everyones familys are all smiley and happy
>mfw i have no family
>all that there is on tv is movies about familys being brought together and everything being a happy ending
>mfw i have no family
>everyones getting gifts and spending all this money
>mfw i have no money for gifts, or a way to get or give any
>and worst of all that everyone pulls this fake ass christmas spirit **** and completely changes who/how they are and their attitudes
>mfw i stay the same asshole through the holidays

I honestly forgot about it. I suppose it's because I'm getting older and it doesn't affect me as much.

My momma said that once you have kids that cheer comes back.

It makes sense. I enjoy seeing little kids freak out about Santa.

Nowadays I look forward to the Holiday parties rather than the actual holidays. Just means you're maturing

That happened to me last year, I was all bah-humbug about the whole thing. But this year is my first year away at university, and I've come to miss home a bit. I excitedly look forward to coming home to see the family, the christmas tree, eat all that good home-cooked food.
I am actually looking forward to Christmas this year, despite how commercialized it's become.

I ******* love Christmas.
User avatar #8 to #3 - frankayy (12/17/2012) [-]
I know exactly what you mean.

For the last 16 years I've been so excited for Christmas, but now I'm just like "Oh look, it's Christmas in a week". It's not that I dislike Christmas, I'm just not as excited this year for some reason.

Maybe it's because a bunch of kids were massacred.
User avatar #49 to #15 - santathumbs (12/18/2012) [-]
If I actually gave two ***** , that could be the reason.

I'm with you and guapa.

Christmas has lost it's general cheer this year.
User avatar #11 to #10 - frankayy (12/17/2012) [-]
Maybe we're just focused more on Dec 21st this year, whether or not we believe the world is going to end.
User avatar #12 to #11 - WhattheNorris (12/17/2012) [-]
Couldn't give two ***** about Dec 21, except for the ensuing hilarity of other people's panicking.
User avatar #60 to #12 - megustaculo (12/18/2012) [-]
and my birthday lol
User avatar #62 to #60 - WhattheNorris (12/18/2012) [-]
Happy end of the world birthday!

How ****** would it be for people to use that excuse to not give you presents or well wishes?
User avatar #63 to #62 - megustaculo (12/18/2012) [-]
Thanks! I usually get double presents but I'd be pretty mad if someone used that excuse. Oh well I'll be spending the day in the bar anyways.

Everyone and their mom is going to get pissed

User avatar #18 to #17 - WhattheNorris (12/18/2012) [-]
I could certainly be inflicted with Christmas spirit if I knew a Galaga machine was under the tree. Er, beside it.
User avatar #19 to #18 - darrenrulzu (12/18/2012) [-]
Why not get namcom museum? Or whatever it was called again for the game cube.
User avatar #20 to #19 - WhattheNorris (12/18/2012) [-]
I want an old fashioned machine, from an old arcade.

maybe that will cheer you up (possibly a feel, but ultimately happy)

just don't pay attention to all of the commercialization.
around Christmas time, the movie "A Christmas Story" makes me laugh. I even have a Ralphie t shirt
