haha, I upgraded my laptop with a SSD and now I don't even care when my computer asks to restart. literally takes me less than a minute to restart my computer even with programs running when I shut down.

>built a new rig like yesterday
>got a hybrid drive (seagate momentus xt)
>750 gb
>ssd speeds

hybrid drives do NOT have SSD speed. Get a SSD and you will know.

obviously not, but they are quite faster than hdds. they basically put what you use most (OS, games, etc) into a flash memory so you have ssd speed in what you usually use and hdd speed in everything else. anyways, it's still worth it

I don't think hybrid drives are as fast as ssd but I don't have, so how should I know :P

For a mere $105, Apple will consider putting your question through the screening process to be answered. Additional fees may apply.

I'm a Windows-fag, but I do like the updating method for Mac OS. A yearly update comes out and you only pay £13.99 (in tip-top Britain. Not sure what the pricing scheme is in the US) and you download it from the app store, install it and can reboot your system with the new OS in a fairly short time.

please don't hate me
