Lets she her try it in High School and have some ******* linebacker take her head off.
Then she'll complain that they were targeting her and rules will be put in place that you can't tackle a girl

She is a child though. When we played football in elementary school the best player was a girl, they mature faster. That was in 3rd to the 5th grade.. but then in 8th grade when we had time to mature another girl went out and she had her knee blown out, she couldn't physically keep up with the rest of us. It isn't sexist, it's about age.

I was just explaining why each can physically dominate. She is playing against young boys who have not matured, while the high school boy who has most likely matured is now playing against girls he has an advantage against. They let the girl play because "she's just a girl", but in reality she is going to be more physically capable at that age. Think back to when you were young, girls were taller and were faster then the guys for the most. Then as you grow up it switches dramatically. That's why you get girls with the idea that they can hang with the guys because they did it when they were 10. And now she's 5'5" and 130 lbs and would get crushed in men's sports.

he is right though, the girl is a child, while the boy is in high school, hence the word varsity, which refers to high school sports

I'm just gonna throw this out there when I say that it's not because of feminism. It's because America doesn't give a **** about field hockey, and loves football!

This is what I don't understand about feminists.
They say they want equality and that they're doing a good job of making an equal world.

Yet, when a girl does something that mostly guys do, they make a big show about it as if to say "we're so equal we have to praise girls for being so damn equal".

Alright I do get what OP is saying and I do agree to some extent, however compare these examples of musculatures between men and women. Men have a lot more base muscle and a larger frame for improvement, women have little room for extra muscle, so men outcompeting girls in sports (ie NHL, NFL,NBA,MLB, ect. ) is not too rare

It can actually. Muscle takes up a lot of oxygen. Ever see a muscular cross country skier? Women actually have an advantage in a lot of ways, just as men do. The boy was playing a sport where being a women is usually an advantage, just as the girl was playing a sport where being a man is usually an advantage. This is, by any logic, a double standard. Society is sexist to both genders.

Very true, I see now I wasn't clear I do agree with OP (like I said). And muscle amount does not confer althleticism, in fact people who visit the gym 4 hours a day would perform very poorly at most sports. I did not mention why I said this however, there is a slippery slope argument over title 9 rights, I agree in many sports that large muscles could be a disadvantage however having larger muscles in field hockey would confer an advantage. Basically the controversy is whether if we allow men to play women could be dominated in their sport and yes this is kind of a sexism thing in some regard. I admit to not having the answer, it's a tough issue to crack.

Yeah, but this is like, a 8-10 year old boy we're talking about, going up against like teenage to later-teenage girls. I think the muscle mass would probably favor the girls there.

Well the concern is if you let one boy play, don't you have to let them all play? It is a slippery slope argument which is in fact a logical fallacy however I do see some truth in it.

Well, I mean, that wasn't really my point. All I'm saying is that the topic of relative muscle mass is irrelevant here, because we're not talking about a boy of equal age beating other girls of equal age, we're talking about a boy who is much younger.

And who also has a jew-fro.

So, I mean, that alone is pretty impressive.

Oh no I agree, perhaps I wasn't clear, I do mostly agree with what OP is saying, however it is a very interesting and controversial title 9 issues in both cases and reducing it to a box with text is a little simplistic
