I'm a huge fan of astronomy and everything behind it, so I get the jokes, of which are executed well, haha. The one with the sun was hilarious, as is this
User avatar #5 to #3 - samio (12/15/2012) [-]
Great to hear. I hope I can continue to entertain you. :D

Wait, this is OC?
Aww, I hoped for a site of these comics.
User avatar #22 to #12 - samio (12/15/2012) [-]
Wow they're really that good?
In that case I will make sure to make even more. Thanks, I never thought these comics I made were that good that you'd think they came from a professional.
User avatar #24 to #22 - tragono **User deleted account** (12/15/2012) [-]
Yes. they are that good.
While OC makers are rare, good OC makers are a complete frikkin commodity.
User avatar #25 to #24 - samio (12/15/2012) [-]
Aw... well thanks, I try my best.

I also really hate things that give the planets personalities, but the way this is executed just makes it different somehow. I usually hate things like this.
User avatar #28 to #27 - samio (12/15/2012) [-]
Hmm... Alright, well I figure not all my comics will be about planets, I actually have one planned that relates to the users of Funnyjunk. But in any case, I hope you'll continue to enjoy my work. :)

I like the ones about the planet's personalities... I loled at that one with the Sun and Uranus seemed ADHD. Seemed fitting

Scientifically accurate, funny, perverted, well made, and an additional joke at the end?
Now this is what I call OC!
Well done, OP. You are not a faggot.

Btw, I like how you tricked bronies into looking at this post with the title, real clever.

I agree, great post from OP
I was also fooled. MFW I saw what OP did with the title

Don't forget the correct use of " Venus' "

I'm impressed.
User avatar #178 to #74 - buttinspecter (12/15/2012) [-]
People forget that "the sun" and "the moon" have real names. They're "Sol" and "Luna" respectively. Our system is called the Sol System.
#306 to #178 - dummerbaztard (12/16/2012) [-]
I learned that in Mass Effect!
User avatar #252 to #178 - waaw ONLINE (12/15/2012) [-]
That's actually not true. The actual official names are in fact "The Sun" and "The Moon." Luna, Terra and Sol are sometimes thought to be their scientific names because they are their name's latin translation, but they aren't.
User avatar #261 to #252 - buttinspecter (12/15/2012) [-]
We call them that now only because we only have one of each connected to us. When we get further into space travel in the coming centuries we'll have to give them real names. I figured we might as well start now, so I always call them "Sol" and "Luna".
User avatar #295 to #261 - waaw ONLINE (12/16/2012) [-]
Maybe in the future, yeah, but for now, their names are actually just The Moon and The Sun
User avatar #78 to #74 - samio (12/15/2012) [-]
Luna is actually the moon's scientific name. If I really wanted to, I would call the Earth Terra but that would just throw everyone completely off.
Anyways, thanks for the comment, glad to know I made another soul giggle today.

Well in mainstream science you are correct, however in astronomy we refer to them as such (with exception to Earth).
It creates less confusion when referring to other orbiting bodies.

You do one where earth tells moon he has humans and that their contagious. I know there's one like this out there but you should your own version. Also there should be oe about what killed the dinosaurs. You could do a hangover comic.

I shall good sir, although I am running out of ideas.
Fear not though, these comics will continue to be made.
