Find out what scroll lock does.

You used to be able to move the cursor with the arrow keys. Turning on Scroll Lock would make you scroll the page, like most of us do now, instead of moving the cursor.

The fact that I know that made me feel way too ******* old..

Oh. Well then what purpose does it serve now if it's still on every single keyboard?

I don't have one on mine. Most newer laptops/keyboards don't.

I think Excel and some other programs still use it, in some way. Really not sure.
