gandalf fifty shades of stormcrow.
hells yea
User avatar #131 to #3 - huszti (12/06/2012) [-]
gandalf doesn't have a last name and he was just called "gandalf stormcrow" by gríma once to refer to his arrival being associated with trouble.
so saying his last name is "stormcrow" is the same as saying his last name is mithrandir (which is one of his many names, mithrandir is used in gondor as an example)
#153 to #131 - dragonovp (12/06/2012) [-]
and i just called him stormcrow.

You know that if Gandalf had a middle name, Stephen Colbert would know it.

That guy is all about the LOTR.

If I remember correctly, he actually owns the prop for Anduril (Aragorn's sword).
User avatar #180 to #28 - iliketires (12/06/2012) [-]
He also owns one of the original Sting's. On his show me mentioned he went to the filming and had a geek off with one of the writers or something and WON. The man is amazing.

Steven Colbert is one of the few men who I would let completely violate me in ways I've never been violated before.

First, just look at that amazing jaw bone, imagine his suculent lips nibbling on your ear lobe as he slowly carasses your body.

Such a stern look, showing he is serious when he needs to be, but at the same time, he clearly has the ability to enjoy himself.

The way he raises his eyebrow just... oh god, it only strengthens his stern look, and his seriousness.

The way his hair flows, shaven perfectly, stroked back in a completely sexy way.

10/10 would let destroy my anus

The worst thing about the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey;
Nov 28 - Wellington Premiere
Dec 14 - Worldwide release
Dec 26 - Released in local cinemas in Australia.

How the **** does it take a month for the film to go from NZ to Aus when it goes to the USA in two ******* weeks?
User avatar #62 to #39 - poopee (12/06/2012) [-]
because they love NZ, and stereotypically, NZ and Australia hate eachother.
So, they let us get it first :)
#176 to #62 - teefa (12/06/2012) [-]
Actually NZ get's it first because it was filmed there... plus i'm Australian and i'm pissed aswell.

If it's anything like why you suffer for video game releases? Censorship, mostly. Australia has a much tighter standard on video game ratings, I can't see why movies would be any different.
User avatar #95 to #67 - supamonkey (12/06/2012) [-]
The reason for the video game censorship is there is no 18+ certificate (for video games) like say the UK, so they either have to censor it down to a 15, or have it banned.
There is an R18+ certificate for films though, so I don't believe it's due to censorship.
#200 to #95 - justtocomment (12/06/2012) [-]
Hmm... Not sure what to tell you then... All I could guess is Australia pissed of a whole lot of people once.
Or it could be that we still use film reals in theatres. Because only so many are made, certain markets get them first. Maybe the U.S.A. is considered a larger market? I feel like digital files should already be implemented and distributed.

Also, I NEED TO KNOW - is he making a cameo in the movie?

I have heard from many people that he is supposed to, I haven't looked for a real source though because I just want it to be true. He also beat James Franco in a LOTR-off as well

Man, sometimes my favorite part of the night is just relaxing and watching the Daily Show/Colbert Report. It's like a sign that the day is ending, and on a good note.

Stephen Colbert is from my hometown (I'm in college in MA right now) of Montclair, NJ. I met him in the supermarket once, had a totally chill conversation, and he told me that he liked my banana shirt.
I would've snapped a pic, but my phone conveniently died. He's a really nice guy though.
User avatar #37 to #36 - TheACEofSpades (12/06/2012) [-]
Oh **** , is he really from Montclair? I'm from Bergen county, the closest thing I've seen to celebrities living nearby are Derek Jeter's parents...
User avatar #42 to #37 - rel (12/06/2012) [-]
Yeah, he is. Yogi Berra lives here too. And Buzz Aldrin was born here.
Where in Bergen County? My father works in Hackensack.

Park Ridge, I hate my town though, I'm usually in Fair Lawn, Oakland, or Wayne
User avatar #45 to #44 - rel (12/06/2012) [-]
Oh, one of my best friends here at college is from Wayne. And I'm semi-familiar with the location of Fair Lawn (never actually spent time there though) because I've had to go through there to get to Ridgewood.

User avatar #50 to #49 - TheACEofSpades (12/06/2012) [-]
Yep, I played that really preppy high school they got there in lacrosse on my birthday a couple years ago, I went inside to go to the bathroom during the JV game and they had riddles right above the urinals lmao, that's the only thing I remembered
User avatar #53 to #50 - rel (12/06/2012) [-]
Montclair Kimberly Academy? Most people know it as MKA, or as Montclair High Schoolers call it, MKgay. They ******* suck. I hate their guts.

User avatar #72 to #71 - newsmyrna (12/06/2012) [-]
They're all really close to Philly Deptford and Glassboro are in Gloucester County and Sicklerville is in Camden County so they all were basically fine from what I've heard.
User avatar #76 to #72 - rel (12/06/2012) [-]
