True, but the OT wasn't even written until the Babylonian captivity. All that time in Egypt may have influenced people more than they want to admit.

Very true. And it's not only egyptian similarities but several other religions/mythologies around north-Africa and mediterranian all the way to eastern-Asia share them in the most significant parts of their doctrine.

This old joke about Jesus and Horus has been around for a long, and I mean a LONG, time. Been proven BS every time but it just keeps rising up. I appreciate anyone who want's to learn about the matter, very much so, but people just don't seem to want to.

All of what you're saying is true,

But it IS a fact that the Christian Religion that arose in the Roman empire was inspired by the old Egyptian Religion, especially focussing on Horus and Isis

Image: Isis feeding Horus, much resemblance to Virgin Mary feeding baby Jesus

Very much so but it took a lot of **** from the middle-east too. Still this Horus-Jesus **** is getting quite annoying.

if you haven't seen it, go on youtube and watch Zeitgeist. Its kinda like a conspiracy movie about 9/11 and the world economy but the first part of the movie shows just how big a scam the christian religion is.

Typhon was a Greek Titan. I highly doubt Greeks were around when Horus was thought of.
Also, I'm pretty sure an Egyptian god would not have been baptized.
Thirdly, El-Azur-Us? troll harder next time.
