I'm looking for a gaming headset to replace my Turtle Beach x12s I was foolish enough to buy, any recommendations?
Price doesn't matter.

All three pairs I've owned have broken, and I've taken good care of all three.

I just think they are cheaply made..

Well that makes sense then. I just got a pair on black friday and the quality is so amazing i was confused as to why you thought it was a mistake to buy them. I have heard that they break within a year or so. I can't really recommend anything for you though because I don't really buy headphones. If I do i get cheap ones.

I was considering the A40, I hate wireless headsets.

I use the Skullcandy SLYR, it's an excellent headset for around $80. It's universal, PS3, PC, and Xbox. It's great for music as well.

I have a pair of Tritton warhead 7.1 and I FREAKING LOVE THEM!!!
i paied $210 USD with tax. BUt the best ones I've ever had, I upgraded from trutle beach x41 7.1 after the speakers started sounding bad. Worth every dollar.

Also, look at Razer Tiamat 2.2, if i didn't have my current ones, I'd probably get those.
